Morning. I was just looking for the post and it appeared right in front of me.

Last day at work today and then 4 days off. Friday is tidy up day and get ready for clear up the mess in my garden day on Saturday. I have booked a mini digger on the insurance to clear up the rubble from the car accident several weeks ago.
Went to the docs yesterday about my dodgy stomach. She had a grope and said everything was fine. It appears that if you have had this stomach virus going about that it can leave your gut sensitive and inflamed. Thus everything you eat just goes straight through. A few imodium tablets should slow it all up and Bob's your uncle. We will see..if he is or not.
The worst thing is (Turn away now if you are eating)
I had to collect a sample for the lab.... ever done that? Not easy, small tube, little spade.....
So later I will annouce to my work mates that I am just nipping off to the doctors with some S**t. They will understand as we are knee deep in it most of the day anyway, metaphorically speaking.

Well the rain has gone and the sun is making an effort... Have a nice day all of you

    morning donnygal and n9eav

not slept well, been up every 2 hours, got a sore throat and feel shaky as does lo as well, my palpitations are back after weeks of not having them, havent had any caffeine so i can only assume its linked to the long walk yesterday, although why that should be i dont know, also went for another walk yesterday to get boys from school, so maybe i overdid it:confused:

had washing machine on last night, and was getting a burning smell coming off it, totally missed the spin cycle so will have to phone for someone to come and look at it, would normally try and fix it myself but as im not feeling great will get someone out instead.

snowy - great to see you posting again:D

smokey - hope your doing ok, hugs

    Morning everyone,
i`m hoping that today just zooms by as i`m off for the next 5 days so this is my last day at w**k for a while:D
I have absolutely oodles and oodles of jobs that need doing so wish me luck guys. One thing that i do need is a couple of dry days as i`ve some more sleepers to move in the garden to make a slightly raised bed down one side, there is some more slate to move and then i can start digging over to prepare for sowing some grass seed. It will be lovely to have a lawn on the back garden.
I need to do a meal planner for next week today as i`m trying to get the freezer emptied over the next 2 weeks, i can defrost it and then batch cook to fill it as i have another week off later this month so i`m trying my best to plan ahead, it dosen`t always go to plan but at least i`m getting more done.
Right must run, catch you later peeps, hope you all have something good in your day!

morning all, looks a bit overcast here today, oh well off to w**k anyway, we got a phone call from sainsbugs last night to say our shopping would not be coming, due to a computer error, along with 1000's of other people, so I will either have to try and book with mr T, or nip out tonight and do it, these things happen, and I must admit its the first time we have ever had an error with them.

Chicken kiev and oven chips for tea, will have to nip out and get peas or another veg, might do it at lunch time, its amazing how much you come to depend on your home delivery.

Will have a quick swipe around before work today, dw needs emptying.

Smoky good luck today, let us know how you get on xxx

Candy hugs to you, your mum and dad today xx

Kyle, hope you and lo LO feel better soon xx

    Have good days all xx

    Morning

Lovely sunny day today, but quite breezy, so definitely a 'peg the washing out' day. Got the hairdressers this morning, having highlights so that will probably take about 3 hours :o My hair is a mousey brown, so have blonde highlights, but would love to be brave and have something daring - I saw someone with blonde and red highlights the other day, and it looked lovely, but their hair was dark brown, so don't think it would suit me.

Bought OK magazine yesterday to have a look at Coleen and Wayne's wedding photos (I know I am sad :p ), and her dress is lovely, but I think it cost something like £100,000  When we got married, I had a suit, we went to the Registry Office and then went to the Berni Inn :D

Going to Aldi later, so think I will do a mixed grill for dinner with Staffordshire Oatcakes.

    Hugs to anyone suffering x

    Good Morning All

Was dull and dreary when I woke up but the sun has come out now and it looks lovely so think will do so more washing today.

After school run going to pop into local town, need to pay a cheque in and need some birthday stuff for dd's friend. Will also treat myself to a mocha from my favourite coffee shop. Once home will get on with some paperwork and my next hated filing job.

Need to make a loaf of bread as we are having a very easy tea of bacon and egg, must remember to buy some bacon though.

    (((hugs))) where needed

    Have a great day.

Off to work soon, where I am trying & failing to do the work of 3 people, oh well, DILLIGAF. I still have a headache on & off, from banging my head.
I've given up using my oven & am using my Remolska everyday, I've even cooked banana bread in it. I'm hoping it will save money on fuel, if the bills go up 40% we'll have real problems.
We're out with friends on Friday evening, but it should be a cheap night with any luck.
Hugs to Smokey, PP, Jay, Jannie, Bethbee, Mrs Mix & anyone I've forgotton.
    Welcome to the newbies.
I hope everyone has a good day.
    Hugs Hester

KYLE hope you and the LO feel better soon.

    PENPIN hugs to you

SMOKEY good luck for today. CANDYGIRL hugs to you and your Dad.

HUGS to anyone I've missed or wants one. Charlie's Mum love oatcakes with cheese and bacon, very slimming!

Not quite sure what I'm up to today. Saw the doc yesterday and got more tablets and he's signed me off for another 2 weeks. Need to study, visit the allotment and do some ironing. Tea is cottage pie as weather is a bit grim here and DS is off to Dover Castle today on a school trip  .

Taking OH to his karate grading later as it is miles away and he doesn't drive. Have told him he has to pay petrol money and the babysitter  .

Off to get DS up. Have a good day all.
