Hello Newbies :hello:
Havnt had a very productive day here today, have been to town and done 2 loads of washing but hardly any paperwork done. Am feeling v tired as DS was awake with his hayfever again last night.
Am doing paperwork now, will cook tea and have an early night. Am getting sick of the news - its all about the gas and electricity prices - very depressing.

Hi all :hello:
Nearly the weekend, and I just can't wait! This week seems to have DRAGGED. Ugh!
I'm trying to decide what to cook tonight. It'll either be "Tiger" (tomato) soup or a brand new recipe using butter beans. Hmm...........
Right, better fly away. (((hugs))) to all those that need them.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
Evening all
There's been some sort of after school kerfuffle but I think it's s
sorted now - well I'll know if dd does't come home in about half an hour.
I called the school about the girls calling dd fat - they are going to do something but not sure what yet. When i called I couldn't for that moment recall the names of the girls involved. "Oh was it J and H?" said the secretary. She got it in one so they must be famous for this sort of thing. dd is carrying some, what i would call, puppy fat but i was hoping it was a sign of her growing outwards before upwards. she eats pretty healthily, has been veggie for nearly two years now and very aware of nutrition. I don't really know what to do - my middle dd battles with anorexia so I don't want to make an issue of it.
Dazi - how exciting - grandchildren must surely be our reward for having survived parenthood - if only you could skip the middle bitI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -

Happy Birthday to Melvis and Happy Anniversary to the Jaywards.
Hugs to Penpin - hope you feel better soon.
Smokey, hope your first day back to work went ok.
Candygirl thinking of you, hugs.
r.mac - I hope things improve for you soon. I only had sickness for a couple of months with DS but found that if I ate I didn't feel sick, how mad is that!!
Kyle, hope you are feeling better too.
Work was ok today, boss out for the afternoon so it gave me time to surf! Spag bol for dinner, I have a load of washing out on the line, it can stay there all night as I have only just put it out!
Made a cake for DS school as it's their Summer Fayre on Sat and if DS want to wear his own clothes tomorrow that is the payment!
Right off to feed the hamsters then curl up in bed with a book, for some reason I am shattered all the time??
Take care one and all, hugs to those I haven't mentioned, but are in need.

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
I was wondering where everyone was too DG, OS is very quiet tonight.
OH has returned from Gateshead, when I spoke to him at lunchtime, he was unsure if he was home tonight or not, but said he would ring and let me know. In typical male fashion, he turned up at 7.45.
I did manage to make a batch of hobnobs tonight, oh, and I've watched House and Gray's Anatomy.
Gentle hugs to those in need.
