    Great minds think alike - I posted similar just after you. You're right to call it pathetic. I'm all for the rough and tumble of debate, but the 'mummy' stuff was apallingly immature. Dear me.

    carol's threads are usually devoid of any evidence and purely subjective, or based on what's going on two streets away. Anyone in disagreement gets a load of abuse. It's rather comical.

    If you read past the headlines you will realise they are down at least 10% on late last year. Approvals lag about a month from offers to comparing Feb to Snowy Jan and late Dec seems a bit pointless. Both Rightmove and the NAEA figures for April show that the number of FTB’s or people with nothing to sell are falling

    If I went by headlines then I'd be lead to believe that the 'housing marketing is rocketing' based on today's Express.

    Can you back up your claims?
