There. Is that clear or would you like to get your mummy to explain it to you?Did mummy help you write that?Ask mummy. Maybe she can explain them in ultra-simple language.
Is it time for your nap yet, dear?
it's all getting a bit pathetic.0 -
carolt, why do you create these DISCUSSION threads if you then abuse anyone who disagrees with you? All this 'mummy' and 'hard of understanding' crap just proves my point when I say that you use MSE as your executive stress toy.
For goodness sake, grow up! Go and join a gym and work that aggression out on a punchbag rather than doing it in here."I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. I can feel myself gettin' awful mad. I'm out of patience, children. I'm coming to find you now." - Harry Powell, Night of the Hunter, 1955.0 -
another carolt thread takes the usual route when her posts get shown up for having zero credibility so she tries to get personal and insulting. what a surprise...

Great minds think alike - I posted similar just after you. You're right to call it pathetic. I'm all for the rough and tumble of debate, but the 'mummy' stuff was apallingly immature. Dear me.
Oh well, time to move off to a different thread where we may get some adult discussion and debate. tsk.."I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. The Falls if the come will start at the bottom. FTB’s are dwindling therefore more people trying to sell at the bottom to less buyers means likely falls. If people at the bottom have to accept lower prices then they have less money to trade up etc. The same happened in early/mid 2007.
Also in my areas I would say 10-15% of the properties for sale are empty or no chain etc. I know 4 people selling at the moment. 1 selling a second home, 2 are moving back in with parents are splitting up and 1 is selling for schooling purposes and will be buying again.
CML say loans to first time buyers were up 27%.

Also, round my way, there's sold boards on every single house for miles and everyones been hammering on the doors 24/7 with handfuls of £50's trying to outbid each other....0 -

carol's threads are usually devoid of any evidence and purely subjective, or based on what's going on two streets away. Anyone in disagreement gets a load of abuse. It's rather comical.0 -

If you read past the headlines you will realise they are down at least 10% on late last year. Approvals lag about a month from offers to comparing Feb to Snowy Jan and late Dec seems a bit pointless. Both Rightmove and the NAEA figures for April show that the number of FTB’s or people with nothing to sell are falling0 -

If I went by headlines then I'd be lead to believe that the 'housing marketing is rocketing' based on today's Express.
Can you back up your claims?0 -
The massive public spending cuts, increased taxes and rocketing interest rates are just around the corner. When that happens there's only one thing that can happen to the House Price Bubble. Yes , that's right......

Nothing comical about it, this woman is a teacher, it's terrifying. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Well, the article (and Rightmove) clearly states that property prices are to fall in the second half of the year, reversing any gains made in the first half of the year.
What's not to like?
So you are happy with stagnation.
P.s. read the statement again, it does not state that they will fall but that they are likely.
Your bold above is a statement which is yet to be seen.
are the crystal balls coming out again?:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.
