A bloke in a networking group i used to attend. To be fair i haven't been unhappy with them, just realising that a few things i was told weren't true after reading this forum.0

Of course he can see it, he just won't admit it - in line with the rest of the UW salesmen.Meeper is a new name on this thread. If matters follow the normal pattern he will vanish and come back with a new name.I am an Independent Financial AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as an Independent Financial Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Were this forum not closely watched, you would have been reading lots more that wasn't true about uw.
The misleading/untruthful posts from their reps soon get deleted!
Care to answer any questions now, or do you only accuse, never substantiate?I am an Independent Financial AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as an Independent Financial Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Excellent. So that means that my posts have not been misleading or untruthful, by your standards. I appreciate your affirmation.
More of your unnecessary sarcasm.
Your posts have been misleading of course, and you have admitted to this. (By continually posing questions you desperately wanted answered, when in fact you already knew the answers).0 -
Then you going to have to do some research.
Though you already have admitted to posing questions here like this even though you know the answers!
And vendors of discount prepayment cards presumably are given some product training so that they can deal with any competitors that are mentioned!
:rotfl: Isn't this where I came in? You originally told me I coiuld get a better deal than my UW broadcall and cash back card combination. After I provided all the info on my package as requested by yourself, all I got was links to interminable MSE articles on phone line rental and broadband. When I then said I couldn't get a better deal from these links AFAICT and could you possibly pick out the best deal you then proceeded to blame MSE! Quentin, grow some balls and for once in your 'career' on here, actually answer a question with specific examples/alternatives. To not do so would lead the casual reader to question your integrity and to wonder whether your presence on here is due to not having anything better to do with your time. You certainly aren't providing any useful alternatives to anybody.0 -
No comments from the usual suspects on my earlier post I see?

Hi Allend,
I posted roughly what your spend would be using Ebico prices, why don't you use the UK Power tools as suggested by Jannine.
Let us know what you find out.
In reply to Meeper-I rang customer services last month and they said they would only take what was used-but when I looked at bank statement am pretty sure they took the £122 again.
(not at home-so cannot check again at mo-but will try to work out my useage)0 -
Unless my maths has screwed up ( not unknown ) you have used the following.
765 kwh Electricity @ say 13p/kwh = £99
206 metric gas units = 2389 kwh @ say 3.7p/kwh = £89
So thats £47 /month over the four months you quote.
As previously posted get in touch with customer services ASAP.
PS I used Ebico prices 'cos it makes the maths simples.
I think I shall just cancel the direct debit until I catch up . Not at home now so can't check bank statements etc
Again thanks very much
