I have heard that UW have introduced a Fixed Price Energy Tariff cant find any details on it. Surprised that one of there peeps has not posted about it.0

ALERT! There is a new fixed price tariff for energy! Happy now?
There is a different price for every region, and there are 14 regions. There are tariffs for gas, electricity and Economy 7 electricity. That's 3 fixed tariffs x 14 regions, so a total of 52 different figures.
I'm not really interested in posting all of the numbers for the gratification of others and see them torn into needlessly. Let's take one as an example. Region 13 (Manweb), standard tariff for gas is 4.062p per kWh with a £2 per month standing charge. On the fixed tariff, that is 3.962p per kWh and £6.30 per month. For standard electricity, normal tariff is 12.985p per kWh and £3 per month. Fixed tariff is 13.599p per kWh and £3.60 per month. All figures exclusive of VAT at 5%
Unlike other fixed tariffs, there are no minimum term contracts and they can be changed at any point. For qualifying customers (4 services or more) the prices are fixed to 31.8.2014 and for all other customers it is until 31.8.2013.

You must be paying c. £1,800 per annum
Edit : Just read the other thread about your 'hidden tariff'. Nice way of avoiding answering the question eh? ;-)
Yes, like I have stated previously, it's always what Cardew DOESN'T say that is the salient bit. He's a WUM, pure and simple. 'hidden tariff', 'can't tell you which one for fear of being found out' blah blah blah. You literally couldn't make it up.0 -

Interesting. Yet another 'in depth' review of UW that makes absolutely no mention of the cashback card. What is it with these 'journalists'?0 -

Winding you up - yes I freely admit it gives me pleasure
However you know it is true about my tariff. Tier 2 under 8p for electricity, about 2.7p for gas including VAT and before discounts.
Yet you cannot resist implying that I am lying, but can't quite bring yourself to say so.
When all is revealed and yet again you have 'egg on your face' what will you do - change your name for the umpteenth time?0 -

Late at night conversations with you are always fun!You posted your 'savings' figure on here without mentioning what tariff you are currently on then 47 minutes later started a thread regarding a 'hidden tariff' that you have allegedly been placed on but also stated you wasn't going to reveal which one for fear of it being increased!! Seriously, as the poster who tries desperately to occupy the moral high ground, the fact that you made no mention of this alleged 'hidden tariff' in the UW thread but 47 mins later thought it important enough to make a new thread about, does tend to make you seem a distinctly 'dodgy' operator, don't you think? Of course you don't think that, what dodgy operator does??
let's face it, you do have 'previous' for this type of behaviour. Go to bed before you embarrass yourself further.
PS If you really want me to NOT believe you are lying, just give us the tariff name you are currently on and i will be straight onto Eon in the morning to check it out.:p0 -

No fear, he'll simply jump to another 'hidden, secret, sorry I can't name it for fear of it increasing' tariff. And start a thread about it.0 -

This is my take on it.
Cardew has, as we all know, a considerably higher energy consumtion than the 'average' domestic user.
This leads me to consider that Cardew's place of residence is also his place of business and that the property concerned is considered as a commercial energy user. Sounds to me like he uses a commercial energy broker which is fairly common practice with business people.
Wonder if Cardew will confirm/refute? Be interesting to see!'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

As I said in earlier posts, I fully expect it to increase massively. This leads me to consider that Cardew's place of residence is also his place of business and that the property concerned is considered as a commercial energy user. Sounds to me like he uses a commercial energy broker which is fairly common practice with business people.
Don't business tariffs pay VAT @ 20%? That would make it even more difficult to get a cheap tariff.0
