Utility Warehouse (Telecom Plus) Discussion

Quentin,
1. Your post is totally random and has nothing at all to do with the current discussion. Your only goal with this post is to bring up past points and steer the conversation away from the helpful discussion that is going on towards your own agenda.
2. The networkerplus website clearly states "Distributors only & strictly not for public viewing. Unless you are a current Utility Warehouse ID, do not use this site.". Are you therefore declaring, finally, your affiliation and identity as a previous disgruntled UW Distributor, or have you simply chosen to ignore the terms and conditions of that site? Specifically:3.2 You may not use the chat forums or any of our comms systems for any illegal purpose and in particular you will not:
...
...
3.2.10 duplicate any content from this site for use, posting and / or sharing with any other non Utility Warehouse Distributor or public site.
...
...
3.2.12 quote any comments or posts from this site or forum to another forum, either public or web based
...
...
5.3 You agree to not link to any 'non-public' area of this site, from any other web-site
3. Network Marketing is a recognised method of distribution. Using letters and leaflet drops is a legitimate way of marketing a business. Perhaps you would rather UW paid hundreds of thousands of pounds for TV advertising and then pass on those costs to the consumer like other providers do?
Thanks in advance for your co-operation. Please return to under the bridge with the other trolls, and take your agenda with you.

You don't need to be Einstein to come to the conclusion that Quentin is not only an ex distributor but a failed one. So he's set about 'destroying' the company that 'failed' him (it wasn't his fault, you see, oh no) in the last 4-5 years or so. Unfortunately he's failed yet again (the company have grown substantially in that time and the share price is at an all time high). The question is: who can he blame for his failure this time? MSE?0

Thanks for the advice all. I have checked our exchange and its not LLU enabled.
However i have been back to Sky and they say the price is as i posted earlier.
Going to have to think about this. Last time (when i switched to UW) i was without a phone for two days as someone had cocked up. Can't afford the same to happen again.0 -

If Sky aren't in your exchange then the charge for BB alone with them is £17/mth. Can't see how they are quoting what they are for BB, phone line and all calls. I genuinely would tread carefully before committing for 12 months (the line rental alone is £11.25/mth). Maybe you are getting some of it free for a few months? No idea.0 -
Cheers. Yes, they have reduced it by about £5 per month but its still well over £30.
If it was just a couple of pound then i'd probably stay as i'm happy with the service. However over £10 extra is making me sway towards switching to be honest especially as i can probably reduce the gas/electric as well as discussed earlier in the thread.0 -

I'll check again but thats what they said and i did point out about LLU.0 -
The networkerplus website clearly states "....strictly not for public viewing....."
On the contrary, the UW happily distributes its training audios/videos all over the net. Only when pointed out here that this means we all get the chance to see their methods do some of their reps get edgy. Wonder why?
As previously posted I have never had any association with uw.
More training audios available here:

Googling this topic brings up this exchange on another forum where a rep excited by uw has spammed a UW training call, wanting people to dial in to the call at 5p/minute, then help her out with feedback afterwards! Needless to say the uw reps get shot down in flames, but retors with "You clearly don't understand the way we work", and if you won't spend some money to learn about something to change your life "You aren't the sort of person we want in Britain"!

Have you found out how much you could save on your energy - check up via one of the comparison sites. Then see if you can save any more by switching suppliers via a cashback site and getting cashback (and doing it every time you switch).0 -
Perhaps if we ignore him, he'll go away. No mention of the breach in the terms and conditions I previously quoted I see. Obviously the rules only apply when it's convenient to Q....
Baggieboy, back to the useful discussion about your phone and broadband services - hopefully you get everything sorted out and get what you are looking for, bearing in mind Penrhyn's previous comments that Sky Connect (I believe this is their non-LLU service, but I may be mistaken) is, for want of a better word, pants. Sometimes it's a case of "better the devil you know".
Good luck,
