.... I'm always moaning to my colleagues at work, I'm sure its something we all do.
This isn't just "moaning" about work!keggs wrote:I've stopped completely both customer gathering and ID recruiting now, not because I don't think T+ works but because I no longer believe it offers people the great benefits it once did
Keggs has an agenda when he pops in from time to time.
Maybe something to do with his true feelings about MSE??keggs wrote:He (Martin Lewis) strikes me as someone who thinks he knows it all but in fact knows nothing. He doesn't like UW but like most people who espouse his views they have a lot to learn.
Whatever his reasons, they haven't stopped him coming here "from time to time" to abuse the MSE pm system to promote uw:keggs wrote:someone did contact me privately because he was a customer and wanted to become an ID... So I login from time to time to check for this really.0 -
I used to believe that I would never be able to diet effectively. I changed my mind and now I have lost some weight.
I used to think that the primary school that my daughter attends was deficient in some areas, but now I have joined the board of governors I can see that it is not the case.
I used to make bad comments about a rival company, and now I work for them and have understood their qualities.
Am I getting through at all?
You post comments but you will never back up these comments, both of you. It's a shame, because that detracts from your arguments which might otherwise hold water. Quoting and making remarks without evidence makes you look desparate and foolish. If you want people to take you seriously, provide some evidence of Millicent's duality and some proof that the comments attributed to Keggs are his current thinking and not a simple frustrated outburst about an issue settled a long time ago in the long-forgotten past.
Your points really are pathetic, and for a couple of people who harp on about not bringing things into the discussion other than prices, you sure have a penchant for mentioning multiple personalities and what people might have sometimes said in a fit of pique 5 years ago.

Though not mentioned, meeper is a rep for uw!0

Maybe he should apply that fact in his signature in invisible writing like SwanJon? Would that suffice? It would appear so as I don't recall any posts from you reprimanding SwanJon...0

I used to make bad comments about a rival company, and now I work for them and have understood their qualities.
If you are happy with the "qualities" of the uw, then you are well suited to them.
We have seen and heard their "quality" training!
They teach their reps to cynically use their friends and relations and to sign them up when the friends thought they were wanting helping out over a problem at work that they need to someone to "practice" on.
To gloss over any questions of detail.
To leave the impression that their prices are guaranteed to be cheap by referring to the worthless guarantee.
To diss the comparison/switching sites.
Not to mention "sainburys" when selling to their friends in case they use tesco, but instead to just ask if they ever buy food and fuel!
To present their friends with an "official" printout showing the savings they can make if they sign up:
http://www.utilitywarehouse.co.uk/home/Savings/Savings_Calculator.taf
(It shows me I'll save over £1000 a year, including over £200 on gas/electricity - though the switching site says it'll cost me more than twice that if I switch to uw - though I would take a friend's word backed up by his printout!)
Etc etc0 -
As you attempt to come across as some sort of consumer's champion when it comes to misselling in the industry, Quentin,I do find it odd that you haven't even made one response in this thread. Or is it only UW you are obsessed with?0

I have been with UW for 4years now and found them very sneeky, they add messages on the back of their bills that most people don't read. I just check the usage and amount pages.
I was shocked to find I was paying for 0845 no's when these were free! when I queried it I was told I should have looked on the back of my previous bill - excuse me for the cocky attitude of their staff!
The decision to now start charging for 0845 was taken by the board of directors. I know a few people that has cancelled their bb and telephone because of the bad service and they don't seem to bother that they are losing customers.
If I want to cancel my broadband which I might add is useless and slow I have to pay a one off charge of £10 for cancellation - this is a joke!0 -

You can't really blame any company if you don't read the info or small print that they provide! I had a small message on my last EDF bill regarding my direct debit, I didn't read this, I didn't blame EDF though!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

I wasn't really blaming them it was more of their attitude they had, it was my fault for not reading it, I never did. I do now as I dont want any-more nasty surprises. I wonder how many people do read the back of the bills? Why cant they put a note in your bill, people are sure it read of any changes then.0 -
Oh I do hope so.0
