as a side point, i hate hate hate that signature on my emails
i've only just learned how to take it off, but i felt really awkward sending an email with 'Sent from my iPhone' to people, incase they thought it was me typing it in
Thanks for pointing that out.
It means I'll no longer assume that anyone who sends a message with that on the bottom is a daft poseur! There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

oh no, quite the contrary, a lot of iphone users are daft posers (myself excluded, obviously)
Posted from my iPhonehelpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -

LOL, yes, but now they'll just get poseur points for having an iphone, not for telling everyone about it.
I'm generous like that. I give people the benefit of the doubt. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

Find me the option to remove the "sent from my Blackberry smartphone on Virgin Mobile" option please. I don't like having my phone's IQ displayed everytime I send an email!Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
Can anyone suggest what to do with our 14" Sony portable tv ? It's old style CRT, it's about 5 years old and minted. We've advertised it on freecycle 3 times now and no-one's biting, the local charity shops won't take electrical goods at all ... seems a shame to dump it.
Weird, cos loads on our group are asking for tv's. Maybe they're holding out for little skinny LCD tv's ?

That's not keeping stuff out of landfill - that's begging and often has nice side doses of emotional blackmail on the side (most noteably the ridiculous "I want an iPad but I'm saving to get my ill cat put to sleep" one from my own group that someone posted on here before).
Lots of us are sick of the endless "want a sofa, must be grey leather" comments... yeah, "would like a sofa" but people seem to expect colour coordinated designer stuff as hand-me-downs. It's rude, it's greedy and it's downright ridiculous. Then you have the idea that putting an X-Factoresque sob story at the end of your post will immediately make people think "OH I have a spare Xbox 360 I'll give to you since your rabbit is homeless and the gerbil's cage was destroyed in a tragic little gerbil livey in house fire while your three legged cripple cat limps by forlornly"... and the people who re-post the same wanted every single blooming day without fail, or want expensive electrical item after item after item week-in week-out.
You obviously seem to have an axe to grind since you're picking after post after post on here in some kind of a frenzy so I'm guessing we've rattled your cage somewhat... obviously there are a large number of other people on here who are veering between being annoyed and bemused by the ridiculous wanteds cropping up more and more - since this thread's incredibly active and long-lived.
Don't like it - door's that way --->
I just wanted to repeat this post because it makes SO much sense. Its not about asking for one thing...its about asking for a shopping list and then stipulating specifics to boot!!Good Enough Club member number 27(2) AND I got me a stalkee!

I don't actually know! I have done a little googling and it seems you need to do it from Virgin as it says:
"Sign in to your carrier BIS site and make the changes by editing your account settings."
