I have absolutely no interest in Yahoo groups to be honest, and as it is only just being rolled out in the uS I can't imagine it is the cause of the horrendous glitches I keep getting whenever I try to access freegle. Luckily i only use Yahoo for freegle and nothing else.

Yahoo groups has always been a horrible interface poorly designed and executed. As Soolin I only use them for Freegle.

My current problem is that it seems to have resubscribed several members who left years ago. Some of them are not too happy about it!

Oh thank you! Thta explains why I got a few emails the other day, even though I unsubscribed 18 months or so ago.
  • I have just offered an approx 10 year old untested laptop, which my mum bought from a car boot but doesn't meet my brother's approval! he claims its not worth buying a charger (8 quid, ebay) for it.

I eagerly await all the sob stories.and tales of poverty about all these poor kids who can't do homework.. I am merely preventing my mum from binning it when someone could make use, for whatever reason.
If google doesn't know it, how should i?
  • LMAO someone on our freecycle today asking for a Kindle or Ebook
Last week, someone wanted a PS3 or Wii Too pass the time of day while he's on the dole

    Hahaha makes me giggle

the cynic in me would suggest their time would be better spent job hunting than repairing cars :o

I'm a bit scared of posting a wanted on our local freecycle - my and my husband are renting our first apartment soon and we haven't got a huge amount of stuff ( we don't even have a sofa yet) - so i was thinking of posting a wanted on freecycle - but i don't want to come across as demanding.
i just hear of people dumping perfectly working (or in good condition) things we would be so grateful to have.
