No please, no thank you, no name attached... yep, looks pretty rude to me. I might have considered delivery to someone who had taken the time to say please.
No need to resort to personal insults, however. Do it again and I'll simply report you to the moderators and send you to my spambox.
Haven't heard from him since. :PI say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.0 -

what also annoys me is the amount of people saying they moving into their first flat and need everything
im in that position atm and me and my bf got old camp chairs to sit on, got some fantastic stuff from the charity shops for a few quid and even got camp beds to sleep on until we sort out a bed (thanks to my parents buying us one).
everything is going to be mismatched and maybe not in the best condition but clothes and dishes can be hand washed, sofas can be covered with a throw or a old bed sheet and most crts tv work fine with freeview boxes so why do people need a blue leather sofa or flatscreen tvs
We get loads of the 'I need everything' too - and also when people are having babies, I have given away loads of baby stuff but I never offer to those cos a) they seem grabby and b) I'm not quite sure what they actually do want.
When I/we first moved in we borrowed some garden chairs, someone gave us a little side table, and also a dining table -and a cheap bed from Argos + my old computer desk - It was fun, we now have the furniture we want, but we have done it over the years0 -
Now this one's a bit bizarre - and slightly creepy - perhaps they were looking for the Personals column?

i was up most of last night ill, and this thread really helped me cheer up, so entertaining, so thankyou. i particuarly like the almost wordsworthian post from that man giving away a shed.
ive had quite a few things from freecycle when weve been in need and generally everyone seems really nice, i think the mods are we on top of our group thoughEven a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe Withnail is right. We are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.0 -

I've decided Freegle/Freecycle is such a pain that if there is a viable alternative for the item I am getting rid of, I will not be offering it on F/F!
I've got a tv, despite a fault, would last for years and years. But there is a local charity who will pick electrical items up for free to use as scrap.
Guess who is getting the tv!0 -

The site doesn´t allow them, that´s the point. Plus that their filter didn´t work.0
