I shop at Sainsburys regularly and very rarely Aldi and would agree about them putting Tescos to shame but Sainsburys has a far better range of quality products which I don't think Aldi gets that near to.0 -

Ha - you would need to pay me to shop at Sainsburys their quality on fresh produce is abysmal (sp?). Given up Tescos too since finding out how good the quality is at Waitrose, the extra pennies are worth it as things don't go off and end up in the bin.The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0 -

It must be something to do with how your local store is managed and it can be related to a distribution problem. Ours is as good as Waitrose but a lot cheaper.0 -
Maybe its a regional thing, over the years I've used quite a few and Sainsbury's has always been a poor second to any other supermarket on produce. The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0

Anyway, what's an Essex girl doing shopping in Waitrose? Do they do good pie and mash and winkles?

I was lucky(?) enough to pick up one of the Aldi LCD flat screens BUT there is a little red dot half way up the screen a couple of inches in from the side!
Is this a dead pixel (I have heard a lot of talk about them but never been formally introduced to one) does anybody know? If so what do i do?
If not and you do know what it could be, can you advise what I can do about it as it is really off putting.
Please help

Dunno about their LCD Tv's but their PC's and level of service have a very good reputation. In fact i've got one of their PC's and very good it is too.
I should imagine their TV's will all depend on what brand they've rebadged. Might be worth looking at a close up of a pic and see if you can distinguish what it really is.0
