The email that Aldi sends out doesn't have a price on, there have been some big price drops on this technology recently so check the market.0

Any reason for you saying the price drop on this technology? or is that just the fact they've been around a while and prices coming down like anything else would over time?
Anyone got any ideas on its spec, good / bad / average? Im not very clued up on LCD TV tech so the spec doesnt mean much to me in comparison to what other models are around?0 -

My Mrs bought a liquid crystal filled LCD, good make (name escapes me now) paid about £1400 with dvd player and full suround sound system, beautiful kit, so against your price and knowing as little as I do - I'll drop, guessing £8000 -
Well Aldi's recent electronics pricing has been a bit higher than the big internet retailers.
It would not surprise me if its as high as £1299 and sold quoting Currys prices as a comparison ( to make it seem cheap ). £999 would be the obvious price point though ( i cannot see it being any lower as there isn't anywhere selling them lower)
Not much spec detail. Does it have VGA input ; how many scarts ( i assume at least one as a scart lead is included) ; component input ?
Well it seems to be priced at €1499 in Germany . That would translate to around £1099 - so them may be able to pitch it at £999 if their margin is high enough.0
