selly oak aldi still has at least 2 left at 12 lunchtime.

i was tempted but went in for the dvd player of which had sold out.

the tv was different spec to what i saw here.

contrast was 10,000 to 1 ?? sounded very high to me but im sure it said this on the box, it didnt come with wall mounts but with desk top stand and a couple other things that were different. the box is absolutely huge also, there is no way it would have fit into my volvo s40 with all seats down.
what is the plural of moose?

I've just been in the Milton Keynes store at 5pm today and they seemed to just have 42" ones for £999. Which I suppose is a very good price?

That was the old Plasma 42inch from a few months back, that most people took back, as they were all faulty. Which is why they were still there !!

  • with regard to firm orders our local store has always taken them and supplied , done on goodwilll I expect, he must be an old fashioned store that deals with customers direct, we got ours and it looks easy to set up ,yes its large box, states HDREADY and has 3 years warranty, our store had 12 we were number six on his list to collect, cant tell you the store I use as I see he will be in trouble if the above posting is true that he cant take names for supply etc.dont want to drop him in it.
He didnt ask for cash before we picked it up either as I expect he knew he could sell them twice over if necessary.

Seriously, if he gets caught by his AM doing that, he'll get into trouble. Aldi policy is first come, first served. They do not allow reservations. However, when a product sells out, they are willing to take names of people who want one in case they can source more stock.
In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

  • hmmmmm, why is everyone so enthused by this product? yes, its a 40inch screen but you can pick up a Samsung 42 inch Plasma IDTV with Freeview PS42D5SD for £1,194.99 on various websites such as duck.co.uk and you wouldnt have to queue for hours outside an Aldi's store as they deliver for a very reasonable £3.95. I am not poo - pooing on a parade but I am curious

Probably because they would rather have an lcd than a plasma.
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.
