re the help with getting it in your car - not sure as aldi don't have many staff and they will probably be busy. you'd be best to phone & ask or get a friend to help.

word of warning - you are not supposed to lie them flat as the screens may crack. the box is supposed to be very big and will most likely not fit in the average car - you may need to hire a van

I think I'll have to take a chance on getting some help, no friends to take. Dunno about laying it flat though, can't see a lot of people hiring vans.

daughters boyfriend works in aldi and was told 12 are coming in.

been to aldi 9.05 all gone ! none anywhere in the locality...surely because of the success Aldi should allow you to order ? if you are at work how can you get to the store ?
if anyone has any further info let me know !

Same story, couldn't get there at opening time as needed to see the doctor - all gone now. Not to be. Very money saving really not spending 850!

I was 3rd in the queue at 8.30, by 9 there must have been 20 people. Staff said they had 8 and all were gone by 9.05. What surprised me was that many of the people were only queing for the HDMI DVD player.

Now to find a day putting it all together and fixing it to the wall.

yep, ditto got there 9.05, all gone. Few people dragging them to the till. Someone obviously was well prepared as they'd abandoned their camp bed, thermos and paper at the door.

Gutted, i hate it when things like this happen cos I want one even more now!
