Daughter and !!!!!

I have 2 daughters with an ex,the eldest has always been trouble and when she was 15 went with a 60 years dirty old man.I got the police involved but she wouldn't speak up and the police did nothing, she is now 19 and still with this dirty old man.My youngest aged 14 was allowed by the mother against my wishes to stop over at there flat and i went ballistic.I found out the eldest and !!!!! was going to cyprus and wanted to take the youngest with them,i warned the mother not to let her go and told the youngest to keep away from him, guess what, she has let her go on holiday with them,i am disgusted with the mother, she has put the youngest in a dangerous position and am scared what he might do.Do i have any rights, legally and morally to have this man arrested when they return,i don't want her anywhere near him.

I'm afraid that your eldest daughter is now an adult and can do what she likes. And if there is no proof that anything happened between her and the boyfriend while she was a minor then there is probably little you can do about him as well.

While this relationship may not be very pallatable to you, your daughter has been in it for 4 years and obviously knows her own mind and this is what she wants. That you were unable to prosecute this man for underage sex back then I'm assuming because she said it was consensual.

Your oldest daughter simply wanted to invite her sister on holiday with her. I think it is highly unlikely she will be introducing her to some three-way relationship. Anyway, how would you prove this?

Have you chatted to your younger daughter about it? (Rather than ranted?) What does she have to say?
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
  • as an ex police officer there is very little you can do, and until she requires the law to act by speaking out about anything he does that she dont want or like and feels threatened by or in any danger then there is nothing you can do....the law is an !!! !!!!!

Considering the other thread on here atm concerning a 14 year old and a 16 year old, I'm shocked more wasn't done by the police, consensual or not. I agree with you OP I would have concerns for your DD, but unfortunately I don't have any advice on how you can stop it. Maybe a talk with your younger DD and try to get her to see sense, but at 14 and with a free trip abroad she will have her head turned.

Do you have parental rights for your 14yr old, If you do you can apply for a court order to prevent her from going but its very touch and go and the courts normally side with the parent that the child lives with unless there is some major worry for the childs safety which can be proved. Its a lot of work and you more than likely will not get the result you want and will obviously cause more upset within the family.

The child lives with her mother,i spoke to child and mother about keeping her away from him,she agreed she would but then let her go.This man saw my daughter grow up,he was married to the grandparents best friend and was found in a car with the 15 year old.It is all too sick to think of,i can't believe the police will not act if i say she has been taken out of the country against my wishes, considering he slept with a 15 year old. This man is 60 for gods sake.

Have you spoken to social services about your concerns?

It might be worth ringing them and talking to the duty officer about your worries. They may know of this man, if you are that worried about your daughters safety and you feel her mother is not protecting her then I would definatley give social services a ring.

    Good luck

shes 19 she doesent need social services !!!!!! the guys doing nothing wrong

while i would not be happy with my 19 year old dating a 60 year old man if shes happy why cant she be left to it

calling the police and social services could cause more damage to this guys life than anything and he may be completely innocent
