  • Think I'll make another overpayment of £110.51 if things turn out ok this month to get it to an even figure (for a couple of weeks at least!) :D ... and if there is anything else left at the end of the month I might make another - or top up some of the accounts (e.g. car tax, as it's only got £30 in it at the moment and if I get my car repaired it'll be due in July).

I did a meal plan with meals using up bits in the cupboard yesterday, sent OH shopping and it only came to £40! (and he got extras as usual). That should be a full weeks meals and I should only need to pop out for milk. Pretty chuffed with that.

Hope everyone's enjoying this fab weather!

Have I just noticed your current total drop to under £18k or am I imagining things?

Yay! :j It has. I paid an extra £500 so far this month on top of my usual monthly payment of £324.61 to Lloyds and I paid £100 to mum so an amazing £924.61 to debts this month!!! Although I think the interest on the Lloyds loan is roughly working out at about £100 per month at the moment.

Going to try and put some more onto it if I have a good month. I can't help but keep checking my balances :D

I've seen that you're doing really great too :T

I was doing great, until I realised I forgot another small loan I have, so need to go back and update it. It's a small £400 @ 0% but it means I'm back over the £22k mark, and also that my original debts at LBM was over £23k

    :(

Oh that is very annoying! But at the rate you're going in a couple of months time you won't have even noticed that little extra bit... onwards and upwards as they say! ;)

Yeah, a little annoying. I've updated everything now. Shocked to realise I have paid nearly £1,300 on debt this month!!

Ooooooh your eBay sales are doing good!! £100 already. It's amazing how much stuff we have that we don't actually need that we can make money from. I'm having a rummage this Sunday so see what I can bear to part with.

  • £1,300 is fab! Just think of all that interest you'll be saving too :D

I bet you find at least a few things for Ebay, you're right - it is amazing what we have and don't need / want anymore - it's also amazing what some people will buy! Going to have another look Sunday too and see if I can increase on that figure.
