    I downloaded spirit. It's very easy. Close itunes. Run spirit. Device reboots. Done.

    Google spirit jailbreak. Then u can install backgrounder from cydia app store. It's an iPhone cydia app but works on iPad :)

    No problem matey.

    So now I run buddy and Facebook chat in the background as well as Skype. Can do work calls while looking at emails etc... Its pretty nice.

    Need more apps to get released for it though!

    I have a load off the USA site i aint gone through them all yet but there aint much there really once you look at it all.

    Yeh well at the moment you can only use the US app store haha. Apple won't allow people from the UK on it annoyingly. Had to convert my iTunes account...

    But yeh all the big apps I use on the iPhone aren't iPad ready yet really. Skype, buddy, google apps, etc... It's good they still work on the iPad but will be better when they're redesigned.

    Once OS4 comes out, you'll see loads of the current free aps suddenly appearing with updates & adds!! It had to happen and I'm please Apple have decided to control it. I'd guess you'll see many apps with 2 formats too & you decide which one to download.
    In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move.

    What do u mean by 2 formats? Enabling multitasking will prob just be an app setting only if the device the app is on can support it or something...

    I've heard Android is being pushed onto the iPad which would then be able to run flash.. Very interesting as Apple say that the reason flash isn't on is that it would drain battery life.. If battery life is as good on the android OS with flash it will rubbish that excuse...!!!

    Actually, Apple don't want it to run Flash because:

    1. Flash is proprietary
    2. Flash has one of the worst security records
    3. Flash is the number one reason Macs crash
    4. Flash has terrible performance on mobile devices
    5. Flash drains the battery life twice as fast as hardware decoded h.264 video
    6. Flash was designed to be used with a mouse pointer, not with a touch UI
