My advice at present is avoid ukpower as I am having terrible trouble getting my £20 cashback from them after switching back in Feb - they won't even reply to my (numerous) emails!
As there is no contact phone number given I am completely helpless.
Has anyone else had problems getting their cashback? If so, how did you resolve it? (incidently the switch itself went through OK)
Thanks v much
After posting the above I was contacted by a ukpower director who resolved this issue. I have received my cheque and they say that they have tightened their procedures to ensure that this doesn't happen to anyone else. Many thanks to MSE and ukpowerWilkin70 -
I am waiting with baited breath to see my happy switch mature into £315 a year savings (Npower to scottish power)and £30 cashback from moneysupermarket and on top another £20 from quidco. How likely am I to see these savings?0

Very unlikely. You may get your £30 but the £315 is an exageration! Did you not calculate the saving for yourself by comparing the old and new suppliers unit prices?

Can I Use Quidco 20 Pounds For Using Moneysupermarket Link And Get The 30 Pounds That Moneysupermarket Are Offering For A Dual Fuel Switch?. Seems To Easy?????.0

Gave in at last and went through the calculations to work out my savings. Was happy to see about £111 to save this year through moneysupermarket.com, going from British Gas (yeah, I know...) to Scottish Power duel.
Oh, plus the £30 I'll get in a few months
Every little helps so thanks to Martin and his team of boffins :j0 -
Have had similar experience about cashback offer (£30) with "simplyswitch" and Scottish Power. Used the Martin Lewis site to do the switch and noticed that nowhere else (other than this site) did the information mention cashback. Queried this with "simplyswitch" who never replied to my e-mails and Scottish Power said get in touch with "simplyswitch". Have now cancelled switch, as I feel that I cannot trust them.0

I have been looking at swapping energy providers and just finished reading the MSE article.
Just been going through the steps on the Energyhelpline comparison site.
I'm currently with EDF Energy and I have the online dual fuel priceplan, but there is no option for this on the site.
There are 5 online priceplan options for EDF but I am not sure which one is appropriate for me ..... anyone provide any advice?0 -
Hi sgx.saint
I was just doing the same thing as I was wondering if EDF are still a good deal. If you have a paper bill from EDF the tariff you are on should be printed just above the units used breakdown (on page 3 of my bill). Hope this helps.
Cheers

Hi Andy.
Thanks for the reply. According to my bill, I am on the Standard Tariff, which seems a little strange as I joined online over a year ago and always assumed I was on some form of online tariff.
Just going to double check to see if my Gas Tariff is the same.0 -
