Gonzo, I agree you need to clear the air with the Mrs. I've probably missed it but is there a reason she can't get a job, even just a couple of evenings a week in a bar or something? Or could she do the daily clicks? Sorry if I'm putting my foot in it there. It's a real breakthrough though for her to realise that spending on a credit card would have made things so much worse.

Hey Ames, well there is a reason she cat get a job, and its because she doesnt want one! i have already found 2 perfect ones for her and even drafted her CV for her (after she asked me to so i didnt force her) however she never got around to proof reading the CV and sending it off :s

i have also given her all the information for the daily clicks but she doesnt manage to find the time to do them either

on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

I won't! Luckily it's part-furnished (bed, settee, washing machine, wardrobe, cooker and all the other gubbins) so I don't need to get much furniture, so I'll probably buy new as itll last me. I'll probably part-ex some stuff in Cex and get a TV from there...probably a freeview box too if they do them. And it's got free internet!

Ames, you might know the answer to this....do you know how you claim the disability premiums? Cos I think it might be an idea to get them

Elfen, if you apply for income support then the disability premiums are automatically added. Same for Housing benefit (although check when you get your award letter in case they've 'forgotten'). Are they the premiums you meant?
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
