Had the best nights sleep again last night :) Just hoping that I might have seen the back of my insomnia for a while!
Its a beautiful morning out there, cold almost like Feb rather than May but hey at least its not raining! Have a manic busy day again today but being taken out for supper tonight and I can't wait :D. My sister is also arriving tonight and staying for a week so that will be lovely

  • Morning all,

@ sal - Glad you slept so well. I know how awful just lying awake is. You always end up going over stuff in your head.
@ elfen - I'm sorry about last night, I should never have said that stuff and in the cold light of day, I realise how stupid I was. :(

My plans are to get a bit more done on my essay before my lecture at 11 as afterwards, I'll be attempting to clean bird poo off my car. One day I'll learn not to park under that particular tree. This is one of those times I'm grateful for having an old car, no clearcoat for the acid in the poo to eat through and I doubt it could make it through the regular paint that fast. If it does, a trip to Bristol might be in order to pick up some Dove Grey paint from the Morris Minor centre. I should probably do that anyway at some point, my dad decided to cover some tiny surface patches of rust with silver paint a while back to stop them getting worse and now it looks like my car's got acne. :rotfl:

I'll have to take it easy though, I seem to have slept funny on my left arm. I'm right handed but I don't really want both arms hurting.

    Morning all

Brrrrrrrr....tis chilly here this morning - sun and showers forecast for today.

Need to pop to the post office to pick up some parcels, typically the postman arrived in the 3 minute window that I was in the garden yesterday and despite knowing that DH takes ages to get to the door, he just left a card.

Still having the dizzyness which is yuck....hoping some fresh air and exercise may help.

Morning everyone. Feeling on top of the world again today for no apparent reason:o:D

Pooky - do you have the dizziness all the time or more when you first get up and move? It might be low blood pressure?

Today will mostly be working, hoping Katsu is still talking to me and keeping myself out of trouble.

  • I've just booked another house viewing at 1 today. I've got a good feeling about this one, it's one I looked at a few weeks ago, a shared house with the landlord in occupancy. I dismissed it then as I wanted to live on my own but I've realised I can't really afford that. So I called up and it's still available. The landlord sounded really nice. One funny moment though when scrabbling for my diary whilst still on the phone to check I was actually free at 1, I tripped over my shoes that I'd left near the end of the bed and stubbed my toe. It's quite difficult keeping your balance and not swearing at the same time. :rotfl:

Luc - The dizzyness is all day and worse when i'm sitting or standing or lying still...I'm feeling very snotty today though so it's probably just a sinusy thing.

Sounds like the new job is doing you the world of good Luc, still enjoying it?

may I suggest a trip to the docs? its been going on a while now....

as for the job, not sure its this particular job I enjoy, so much as the fact I am out working - a job stacking shelves would probably have given the same level of contentment:rotfl:

ggggrrrr why cant peoples joy rub of on me today,

i am already having a poo one, on top of my laptop having died the other day (although i have managed a temperary fix i know it wont last much over 2 months) my Boiler has just started whistling when the hot water is running and now i am panicing thats gonna cost more money, and the car is then due for its MOT on the 7th June so have got massive panic at the moment since virtually all my pots of money have been decimated recently due to one thing after another such as oven needed replacing, car needed 4 new tyres, 6 birthdays in 6 week including both mums both dads (mine being his 60th) brother and sister-in-law and also got my wee ones 2nd and my step sons 18th coming up in July and to top it off i have the car tax due at the end of June

i really just want to cry at the moment as i just can not see how we are going to pay for all these things if the boiler is screwed and the car needs anything done to get it through its mot
