Gonzo - I agree with Beanie completely.
Just had an email back from Business Link, they're going to ring me, eek. It's probably not a viable idea but I thought I'd look into it anyway.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

i dont think she blaims me for doing a job,
i think she blaims me for taking a job which has made us financially worse off although the annual wage is higher the tax credit drop and the massive amount more petrol out weight it, and the fact i took it just so i could get out of a job i really had got to the point of hating due to one thing and another seems to be a problem sometimes as 'it might have been better to stick it out and wait for something closer to home'
another rant warning for the following
however main one that made me hate working there is i was told all along that a new role was being created 2 bands above what i was on and that if i do my qualifactions 'unoffically of course' that job would be mine.
so applied to for funding to do my course and the day before the registration the director decides to tell me that she has no more money in the training budget, however i still need to do the qualifaction if i want to get the job and that she will hold of the creation of the role untill i had finished, so i went home spoke to my wife and agreed we would fund the qualifation out of our own pocket (£75 a month we didnt really have however 'it would be worth it in the end')
anyways do it pass it and the post gets created so i apply and then get told they cant offer me an interview because i dont have the relivent experence and so they offered it to a person they had been seconding for the passed 2 years whos 'original' job had been put at risk, so now this person has taken the job i get informed that my job role has to be re-specified to take into account the new position and guess what my new role gets all of the most boring tasks that the rest of the team no longer want to do and all the things i had been doing (damned well if i must add myself) for over a year get taken away from me and given to the person who took the job
rant over
thank you for saying the wife's lucky
i think she is as well :rotfl:
and my little one is ocming up 2 in July, also have a step daughter who's 13 and a step son who's 17Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
Afternoon everyone.
Pretty good day for me today, although I only have £57 in my bank account until Monday. Thats the lowest its ever been since I opened the account and has got me a little panicky even though I know we dont really need anything.
In other news, reading my visa statement today and it states- Purchase Interest at 34.080% per year
- Cash Interest at 41.200% per year

Ouch, I'm trying to work out if I'd be better off working and getting tax credits than staying on disability benefits and doing voluntary work, it's making my head hurt.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
