Help needed - trying to create a recovery disc

None of those seem to do anything0

No, not getting the Bios screen either.
It comes up with COMPAQ, and says to press F10 to change the settings, then just goes to a flashing cursor in the top left hand corner.0 -
Kept trying lots of times, but can't seem to get the BIOS screen to come up.0

I'll upload a disc for you.0

Apart from sticking it into a usb caddy, and seeing if there is a recovery partition on there (ie not wiped fully), the easiest way would be to borrow a xp home CD.!!

That's very good of you, thanks.
A Windows disc or a recovery disc?
Why can't I get a Bios screen up though?0 -

When you say 'sticking it into a usd caddy,' what do you mean? - take the hard drive out?
If I connected it to my Pc either via Bluetooth or USB cable, would my PC see it as another drive? and would I be able to look at it from my PC?
It says its got Bluetooth, although I suspect the software for that has also been wiped, don't know if it is wi-fi enabled, that would be my next question if it isn't, as I need it to be.
I do have a Bluetooth Dongle, although have never used it0 -
Yes, it's unlikely to work, Donnie's upload is your best bet, if it's an iso, you need to burn it as a disc image (imgburn can do this)!!

I am at the moment backing up my documents and settings, onto my back up drive
, (PC), so that id working, obviously it didn't like doing the whole disc and the recovery disc.
