was fires galore a ltd company?
i cant find anything0 -
3 weeks in to my failed order - (see previous posts) I have contacted Sage Page who assured me they were in liquidation last year but they had started them trading again - they re-assured me that my frustrations had been e-mailed to their contact and they were certain I would receive some communication - Still nothing! Ian - I hope your right and Sage pay have stopped them! - Contacted the local trading standards but they were NO help - only informed me of how I could apply for a refund through Mastercard! I would really like to see this Co brought to task!
Have ordered a new fire - delivered in 48 hours now fitted and working beautiful gassuperstore.co.uk0 -
I wish I had not found this forum as now I am getting worried, on the 20th July 2011 I ordered a fire from Fires Galore despite E mails asking for a delivery date and constant telephone calls today there has been no reply, it is possible that I have joined the many that have been conned, I paid by Visa debit though Sage pay, what are my chances of a refund as a disabled pensioner I cannot afford to lose this money as I will have to purchase another fire from someone else.

You will need to wait 30 days from the order, then contact the card issuer and ask them to process a visa chargeback. Shouldn't have many problems.0 -
Avoid firesgalore like the plague, they dont answer the phone let alone refund your money, there's also a time limit so lloyds say when they will act to help customers who paid with debit cards, so called charge back, but lloyds fail to say how long that is,0

Ordered a stove from this site at £790. Delivery promised in 7-10 days, no answer to e-mails or telephone, no way of contacting anybody. sent a couple of e-mails to sagepay asking them to pull their finger out - people have been caught out by this lot for over a year now. Pity sagepay don't provide the consumer with more protection from the very scammers that they are facilitating payments to. Anyway, 2 weeks of no product or communication (half expected after stumbling cross this forum a week after i had ordered), I've put in a chargeback request through TSB (needed to wait 15 days) as I paid with visa debit, looks like I should get a refund in 7 days. Learnt my lesson (I order loads of stuff on line, but got caught out), never going to order anything big without checking forums first and will also use credit card and pay it off once I've received the goods. Can't believe Fires Galore have been ripping people off and wasting people's time for so long.0

I informed Sagepay of my failure to contact Fires Galore and received an Email back stating that they have stopped taking payments for Fires Galore from the 29/07/2011 also that they have informed their merchant bank which granted them the ability to trade online. So hopefully this is the last we see of these cheats and rogues. thank you for this forum and the help i got.
