    Congratulations to the new mummy!

You are going to have so much fun once the kittens are a bit older and running around and into everything.

Regards the one that died, I think that you should take it away. Jinky probably doesn't relate to it as her kitten - it's just a cold thing in her bed. If you're squeamish skip to the next paragraph.... as a defence mechanism against predators mother animals sometimes eat any young which don't survive. It's gruesome but logical - the smell of a dead animal will only attract predators, and if it happens it is only because of an instinct to protect herself and her living babies.

This is great news, I am so glad Jinky is happy and she sounds like a great mother.

How lovely! Are you going to get her neutered in case she escapes again though hun?
I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off :o

    Thanks SnowyOwl! :)

I can't take my eyes off the kittens, they are just so cute!:D I've never seen kittens so small! I got Jinky when she was 6weeks old and thought she was tiny!:D

My OH moved the dead kitten and she didn't bother at all. Had a wee cry as it had the cutest wee face and reminded me of my old cat.:(

Anyway, will get some pics up later, as I'm trying not to disturb them too much just now.

Yeah deffo!! I'm going to phone the vet on Monday to see if I can get her done as soon as it's safe for her.

Think I'll probably be keeping one of the kittens(the other going to my brother) so will be asking when that will be old enough to get done too!

Don't want to make the same mistake again of thinking she'd be ok as she's a house cat!
