I'm almost certain someone's been looking after her, as she's not skinny at all and she's nice and clean and shiny looking! Surely she would look a bit manky after all this time?

She's back here acting like she's never been away! Since she was a kitten she would never drink her water from a bowl, so we always had to leave the bath tap trickling for her, and as soon as she came back she went into the bathroom and sat crying until the tap was turned on for her to have a drink!:rotfl:

She's now lying curled up next to me on the sofa!:D

    I'm so happy she's back! :j

Hopefully if this happens to anyone else this will give them some hope.

Your news has made my day Jacqu. :j:j:j:beer::j:j:j
Am so pleased that she has come home to you.
I would zip her off to the vets asap to either get neutered or find out if is already pregnant (I would try and do this before you let her out again although you might find that hard if it is as hot with you as it is here - I expect you will want all the windows open). Only let her out when she is hungry and for short periods of time to start with too.
I have no idea how you can tell if she is already pregnant if she is in the early stages and not visible. I would think there would be quite a high chance that she is pregnant TBH but you might be lucky.
I am so pleased that she is back home where she belongs. I hope it gives others hope too. :D

Wonderful news! I'd agree with beks, though, about getting her to the vet's asap to have her spayed/find out whether she's pregnant. It might also be a good idea to have her combi tested, just in case she's picked up something from an unneutered tom.

I've only just read through this whole thread... I'm sitting here with tears glistening as I was so worried for your little girl - I'm so delighted she's back and safe!!!! Hoorah for good old St Francis (I always ask him to look after my two!) I also think it's a distinct possibility she's pregnant - your vet will be able to tell you from a physical exam. You say she looks well fed and not scruffy? I suggest putting a little ad in the local paper/your local shops/parish mag to say- 'thanks to whoever fed my missing cat!'

Just bumping this thread to let you all know Jinky has had kittens during the night/this morning!:j

Not quite sure when to be exact, as I didn't find out until I got home from work. She had 3, but sadly one was dead.:(

Jinky and the other 2 seem to be ok. She's been wandering about and eating and drinking and has now gone back in to the box with the kittens.

I'm not sure what to do about the dead one.:( I've left it in there with her just now, as she's got them all under her.

Should I move it straight away?
