good thanks! the only way to find out for sure is to bite the bullet .

    Thanks all.

Well if you still want to have a go - given all the stuff on this thread alone, don't take just my word look to the other posters who have given their experiences . Take a look on the *squidoo* range of sites on Kleeneze. There is enough detailed stuff out there about the problems with this organisation to see that there are serious problems with it.

if like I said you have *any* money issues - any money you can't afford to lose then don't do it.

    Be very careful , please!

Yes mainly from people who have jacked it in.There is also a lot of info that says it still works for some. The problem you face when joining is who do you believe. If your tempted no harm in trying surely,as long as you cut you losses quickly if you get no results.

Personally its not for me every distributor we have had around my area and we have had a few,has never returned again.Same with Betterware.

I think it's best to point out that the supposed *good* reports online will come form distributors own websites whose main concern is to recruit new people. No where on any of those sites will you see any discussion at all of any single problem that might arise and in fact will be come the bane of any new distributors life.

Online forums such as this or the Squidoo site contain much testimony from people who have done it and encountered such an avalache of problems they've been forced to leave. Were it one or two posting then fine but it's a whole raft of postings all over the net going on for years. The same kinds of problems crop up the stories of lost money and hard work for no reward - basically more trouble and expense than it's worth along with some hair raising stories of being ripped off or badly treated.

You should be extremely wary of single new posters that pop up saying how much they are enjoying it and earning - often they use the same glib catchphrases , they are more than often long established kleeneze agents who trawl the net looking for such forums and pose as new people, it's in their own interests to do so. I've met people who have admitted to it. It's bizarre I know but nothing stops Kleeneze agents.

You should also read the many threads on here, paying particular attention to those people who proudly announced that they had made £40 in their first week, or whatever they made, then promised to come back and keep us updated as to how much they were earning, then never came back.

Did they stop earning, and think "If I keep my head down and say nothing people will forget what I said".

Or did the elation and desire to brag about the earnings they made in their first week wear off by the second week?

The thing is I'd love to hear from them , not to gloat or to remind them what they wrote but to hear of their very real experiences. Sadly leaving Kleeneze for some comes with feeling s of shame and embarrassment for being *taken* in or losing so much of the families money etc etc. The so called training seminars are insidious in the things they say - only losers quit , losers aren't winners etc etc. I heard rob forster on a CD say that *negative* thoughts and words from relatives who don't see the *opportunity* should be countered by avoiding them and spending more time with your *team*.

It's not good at all. If anyone is reading this thread come along an tell us how it all went.
  • I have to admit I did come on here a couple of times some years ago to say how good I found Kleeneze, I took it on as I hadn't a job and as a 40+ bloke with no qualifications and skills I thought it would be OK. It suited me for about a year but I was really using my saving to get by on. At first it was very good , not a great lot of money but I was assured that as I grew my customer list it would get better. For a while it was OK but then the first customers started to drop away and I was delivering to them a book and they weren't buying. I had to go further and further from home using more and more fuel. The a few new people started up in those areas so sometimes I'd go out with my books and he'd already been and I'd get few if any orders.

My upline was always saying how it would get better and how I should recruit my family and friends but they could see I wasn't earning much and I wasn't about to lie to them. I did some newspaper adverts but it came to nothing though it cost a fair amount , I was told I should invest in my business by my upline but invest what? They all got a bit stroppy when I wasn't prepared to go to all the meetings or drive 2 hours up the motorway to listen to some bloke , they called it training but it was just al brainwashing really them telling you how much they made and why you should be able to walk out the door and make the same. In my areas there were 4 other distributors all falling over each other, I lost books and orders all the time. I made next to nothing at all for being out every day of the week sometimes every evening of the week too!

Eventually I took up some gardening with a local bloke who had to much on his round and now I work with him and we have a great time - gardening is my hobby and now people pay me for it. It's not much but more than I ever made with kleeneze. Sometimes I feel a right fool for doing it but other times I realise it gave me a year to get my head around the changes in my life and realise what I wanted.
  • Thanks for posts "should be out gardening" (love the name BTW) I looked up your single posts from years ago and like me you thought it would be OK, it seemed to fit what you wanted to do but once the shine wears off you get to see just what it's really like, like you I had an intial good start but after months of lost books and having several other distributors in the area I gave it up. I went through all the problems of recruiting and actually got a few people but nobody can make a go of this so soon I was back to square one.

The awful meetings were another thing , after a few times it became clear they were lying for the sake of the new people there, anyone who had been in a while could see the rubbish they were spouting. I felt bad about leaving but the thought of buying all new books then trudging out again after Xmas did it for me, I was making nothing after all the cost came off.

What worries me is now there is real economic hardship these lot are out there promising £500 a month etc and it's mainly single mums and the unemployed they are recruiting.
