Taken from Findels latest trading statement
Trading within Kleeneze has remained challenging during the year. Full year sales remain 5.4% lowertrading weakness also means it is behind our expectation.
than the prior year. As a result, Kleeneze profit for the full-year is below the prior year and recent
OH DEAR OH DEAR, they've cut all the costs & still sales continue to go backwards. I wonder how long before they get rid
Never a better time to join!!!

Does anyone think the pound shops might be killing it off ?
I've seen things in the shops that are the same as the products in the catalogues but which are hugely cheaper. Assuming everyone's cut from the KZE selling price leaves cost plus... something for the rich ones at the top.
We have a rich KZE player around here who has lovely cars, has been on the telly and lives in a nice house but he's such a Slick Rick, fast talking gob shi...you wouldn't lend him your hat let alone give him money.
He has a down line a mile deep allegedly and tells everyone it's easy to make it big.....he's so transparent0 -
Could possibly be true.
I think poundshops are the only ones making money & notice Aldi doing very well too
Agree with similar products in poundshops but would guess its still only a small % of the product range
I know Betterware gives a no quibble 12 months warranty which I doubt you'd get a the £ shops so in part you pay for what you get & its brought to your door.
My good drinking pal works for Betterware & too has the Porsche Merc convertible other cars game room hot tub etc etc & a 6 bed house all paid for according to him. Hes not a salesman & full of rubbish just a very normal bloke who gets on with people, what you call a peoples person. He doesnt earn a fortune with them but he tells me about all the people he takes on as they're all different. In quite a few cases he comes across people that just need a tenner to buy basic food
He says there nothing wrong with the Betterware business model its just getting people to do this type of work BUT it is very low paid @ the agent level. When we talk shop he says he never ever met a succussful KLZ person but says they must be about & got into the MLM in the early days
I know hes been approached on several occasions to work elsewhere as he is working harder & harder each year to earn the same. The Seeker of Truth & Justice for all0 -

Its been a while since I posted
I don't think the pound shops are killing it. I actually can't get around much nowadays so the catalogues usually help the disabled people (like myself) and busy people who can't get into town due to working.
I have seen how kleeneze works in terms of the compensation pay.
It is too complicated to post but there is a cap on how much the top guys earn. For example distributor level A earns money off everyone on Level B but can't earn money off anyone below B. Then all level's B earn money off C etc. Basically everyone earns money off the people below them.
In other words if I were to join Team level J, the only person earning money off my sales would be level I (i.e. the person who sponsored me).
Also regarding the pound shops, I have watched a undercover documentary about them quite a while ago and they have a higher profit rate than kleeneze or betterware. One item they bought at 2.5p each then sold it for £1. 97.5p is pure profit. When I was in Betterware we sold the item at £5.00 but I was told we do pay more for a higher quality product, I think it was 80p each.
with pound shops the quality does vary against catalogue products, my mom bought a sweeping brush (just before she passed away about 20 years ago) from both Betterware and one of the pound shops. I still have the one from Betterware now (20 year old brush is quite good), the pound shop brush went in the bin within 6 months. If you work out the maths, a £1 brush lasts 6 months but a £10 brush lasts 20 years.
People do have to understand is that paying more usually gives a higher quality.
Out of curiosity who is the kleeneze guy you were talking about?
I used to say Betterware was easy to do. Put out the books, pick them up a few days later then get and deliver orders. It is quite simple compared to normal jobs.0 -

Yeah with the poundshops they do have a high profit return on some products. I do all my shopping with Aldi and compared to Asda I can get about everything for about half the price.
Betterware does offer a 12 month guarantee and infact Kleeneze have claimed that they have been running a 12 month guarantee too however with only online shops. With catalogues it is only 30 days.
Some of the poundshops by me don't offer the 30 day money back, they only offer 14 days.
I agree with the fact that there is nothing wrong with the catalogue model however it does put people off doing it. When I did Betterware, my area co-ordinator usually tells me about the excuses people put up with not joining. The thing with Kleeneze that also puts people off is the paying the £25 startup despite the 30 day "money back if you decide its not right for you" offer.
Also people have this get rich fast attitude when they join Betterware and they expect a pay to be over £500+ every month on the first month, and they don't realise they need to put work into it to earn it. I have noticed more people have it the younger they are. Obviously this doesn't apply to everyone.
I had a look around the past month and found some of the kleeneze successful people (i.e. people earning more than £500 a month). Most of them are on facebook so I sent a message to them asking about their pay etc. Quite interesting the successful people have shown me how they get their pay. Everyone in the £500-£1000 did more retail than people who are in the £10,000+ range.
In fact the top retailer (who has no team) earns roughly £2000-£5000 per 4 weeks. From the looks of it, the successful people are relying more on the network bonus than their own retail.
Back to my point, I asked about roughly 150 kleeneze successful people and 200 almost-successful people (i.e. £200-£500) I asked them if they had a look at this thread. Quite interesting the successful people don't know this thread exist whereas the less-successful do know about this thread.
Majority of the less-successful have made posts on this very thread.
From that experiment I believe that the majority of posters on here that are from kleeneze are people that aren't earning the big money.0 -

Yeah I have had a look at that a few weeks ago and I checked the email on fb as you can search for people on fb using the email address. That email address went straight to some guy named Dave Smith on fb. I don't think it was Gavin Scott as the public posts were badly spelt and advertising ACN while slating every other direct selling including kleeneze company. Also one post was targeted to slating Gavin, he mentioned doing something to damage Gavin's reputation roughly the same time the abusive emails were sent.
Interesting though fb gave a link to his twitter account aswell and it is the same stuff there.
unfortunately his fb got banned for abusive behaviour. His twitter did get banned a few days ago however I did get this as an reply unforunately the link was removed;
"In 2012 Yes I did deframe GS with emails from my own email address and JR fell for it, you think the front email would have giving it away, but I loved doing it though."
any thoughts on that john?0 -

Hi Sandra, haven't heard from you in along while & good to have you back.
Such a pity we cant get some regular KLZ contributions to this thread. Come to think of it.... I'm the only PRO Betterware person on here :rotfl:
Christ knows where you find time to do all this research & an interesting use of the word successfull
My contact @ Betterware always get frustrated to the fact that some people cannot see or know the MASSIVE differences between the two direct sales outfits.
From my understanding Betterware do not promote themselves enough & seem on the face of it to b a good honest & ethical company. The others are most certainly not
I dont think with all my comments on here I've ever been proved wrong with anything I've put on this thread, although have had been told off a few times with my choice of words used from the MODS.....opppppsssss........sorry!
Saw my mate over the weekend, he told me he was on the road @ 6am to drive about 2 hours to speak with someone who after an initial inquiry wanted a more senior role than the normal agents role. The person currently works for KLZ but wasn't told about all the charges etc etc. I cant say too much but the person wont be working for KLZ much longer. Thing which made me laugh was this person who is joining Betterware wont be working for him. :rotfl:
I've always said good luck to any agents who work for KLZ, I do get sick to death with them constantly lying about the ACTUAL earning potentials & thats why I pop back on this thread & share the FACTS :cool2:
Theres a MASSIVE difference between GROSS earnings & NET profit
If someone from KLZ comes on here like you've mentioned above & says after 5 years of retailing I'd be earning £2000 - £5000 per week then I couldn't disagree.
I would however counter balance those figures to say you would in the same 5 year period earn more with Betterware because its a cast iron fact you would
Thats a lot of books going in & out througout the week to do that though. :eek:The Seeker of Truth & Justice for all0 -
I do Betterware and have done for a few years.
I started it on 8 hours a week. I then increased my hours (and patch) to 16 a week to keep child tax credits. I increased them again last year to 30 hours, again to keep the child tax credits.
It's the easiest, most enjoyable job I've ever had. Little or no stress. I dress how I like. I work when I want.
Typical weekly sales are around £1k (more in the run up to Christmas), which earns me £200.00 weekly commission, plus an Annual bonus. This equates to a hourly rate of just under £7 cash in my pocket based on 30 ish hours a week.
There's no income tax to pay because you can claim lots of legitimate expenses on your tax return to reduce your net income. Only £2.40 a week National Insurance. Plus as a parent I qualify for child tax credits because I work thirty hours a week.
My main expense is petrol and the other costs of running a car. I get free books, free stationery, my own protected patch, and lots of friendly old ladies as customers who give me repeat business month after month.
Because the books are free, you are able to work your patch hard. If a customer doesn't leave the book out, so what, it's not cost me anything.
The knack is to bring on new customers at a greater rate than you lose them (customers move, die, lose their jobs, decide they don't want the book anymore, etc, etc). Your book allocation is based on your sales from a couple of weeks before and they're free and they're issued by the area manager. And there's normally enough that you can do your job.
I don't earn big money, but I have a cracking hassle free lifestyle with lots of freedom and lots of free time.0
