Good evening WW
Just logged back on to see the reply.
I tend to agree that there always is a pattern develop BUT I think this person might be real.
I always love to be proved wrong

I know one way to prove you both wrong however you guys would need to help. If I was Luke, I wouldn't say this as Luke wouldn't be able to get around this.
I don't like sharing my mobile number in public but if it proves that I'm not Luke then Ill be willingly to do it.
I'll pm you my mobile number, if one of you want to call me then you'll be able to hear myself. The question is who wants to call me?Honest_John_666 wrote: »Sandra you said you worked for Betterware some years ago & I very much doubt nothing has changed.
Normally.........the agent would write their name & number on the bottom of the order form. Normally......... nowadays........they deliver another book back through to you with yellow post it note (TM) & this doesn't have any BW logo thanking you for the order. Giving you a time/day when your goods are to be delivered & imforming you of the amount of the goods that are to be delivered to you. This in my eyes is fairly good customer service. Also in most cases books are left with the householders for 48 yrs
All the stationary items are supplied free of charge but it has been known for some agents to develop their own stationary when in truth they shouldnt need to. I would have to say its pretty pointless saying you'll deliver on Monday when you dont know if you can fill the orders until the agents gets their delivery from Betterware. Again as a former agent you would know this?
I am however a bit confused & you'll have to excuse a few sceptics when anyone new joins this thread, but run this through.....
You haven't had a book for 5 years........... you get both on your doorstep......... you order the same product from both...... & you send one back.......... is that right??? All in the same week???
As for Luke, not sure what happened there BUT guess Admin deleted him. Lets say he dug a few holes & told a few fibs. its either that or the dark side sent him to a new galaxy
John, it was more than a few years ago, I did Betterware from 1976-1990. From what I can remember back when I started many, many years ago, the internet was new so we had to process all of the orders to the area manager. All of the books I put out at the time we had to handwrite our details (i.e. name and house number) on our order forms. There wasn't any stickers to put on the books so I usually leave them blank. At the time there was no free stationary, so we usually have to buy our own. All orders had to be processed to the area manager by 3pm on Friday or if you missed the deadline it was 12pm Monday, either through fax or phone. The deliveries got delivered on different days but it was usually on Wednesday. We had to pay our deliveries after we deliver the order. Also deliveries we had the choice of using handwritten notes or come unannounced however the first option was the recommended. The handwritten notes we had just had "Dear Customer (or it was blank so we write our own customer names)
Thank you very much for your betterware order. You'll be pleased to know we will be delivering your order on (then you put the date and time of the delivery)
Thank you
(name of betterware distributor)"
I presume things have changed with Betterware since I started about 38 years ago. At the time we didn't have internet or the free stationary when I started. Everything was done on paper and nowadays it is electronic. When I got started we had to wait 3-5 days for the official paper to say we signed up, but now you can sign someone up within 10 minutes and they'll receive an email to say they signed up.
In the last 5 years we have moved a few times so we haven't receive any of the books within those years but if I stayed in our first house then most likely would have received one within a year or so.
I ordered the same item as 1) I have two bathrooms at my house so hence why I bought 2 bath mats. 2) They were the same price and 3) I wanted to see which one was better.
I sent the item back within the week as I decided to test it out after I put it in. I slipped while trying to get out, considering that they are meant to be anti-slip bath mats that meant to make you not slip, it didn't work for me. Just had a bath this morning using the betterware product and that didn't make me slip.
I'll await your reply John or wonga.0 -

That is why for everyone to see on Findels website for the last 5 or maybe 10 years KLZ sales have gone backwards....FACT
NEVER A BETTER TIME TO..............GET OUT!!!! :rotfl:
The only problem which I noticed when I was trying to get a few of my friends to join betterware is their response of "Its catalogues? No thanks" I don't know if anyone in betterware or kleeneze or other catalogue companies are getting these reactions but I think it is say to presume people prejudge any catalogue-companies.
I had a look at the sales and the only problem I see is it doesn't say if there are less items being ordered etc. I think along with the sales it should have a number of items being sold.
For example in betterware we sold a £9.99 item which was reduced in the sale a month later to £4.99. Say if we just based all sales on that it would show a 50% downwards but if we to have items sold it would be the same. if for example betterware published the same thing and our prices go down people may argue that sales are going down however it is just the price rather than orders.
Also just been looking around but has betterware released their sales report recently online, just wondering as they used to release it to us (the distributors yearly via post when I was in Betterware but they stopped doing it before I left.

Hi Sandra
(Text removed by MSE Forum team)
I alway gets numbers thrown at me. It doesn't really bother me who you are, you dont need to prove who you are. Its an open forum. Any one can share your views
You said a quite a few thing above about the Betterware operation that doesn't ring true BUT I cant really confirm 100%
Stationary has always been free. My contact says its the same stationary which has been used for many many many years. One single blue order form. They have a call again slip which is green & at least size of the ordering form
Betterware agents DO NOT recruit other agents, they can ask anyone else if they want to also join to which they will earn a finders reward. The recruiting side of the business has alway been a role of the AREA MANAGER
Betterware have always had their own delivery system & I have been very reliably informed that their deliverys go to their AREA BODs within 10 mins of their alloacted time each & every week on the same day. NORMALLY the AREA BODS deliver the goods back to the Agents on the same day @ the same time each week
Agents hand over their orders to the Managers & nowaday the manager orders the goods through an online simple ordering system. KLZ CHARGE to use this similiar system
Now......I'm not disputing you are on here for very valid reason BUT my contact worked for Betterware in the same period as you state & he says quite a lot you have written above either isnt or shouldnt be true especially the charging for stationary bit. There are parameters which all Betterware agents & Managers should follow but it doesn't ever mean that some of them dont stray off of this path
Now........ you maybe friends with LUKE...... & WW is a better judge than I..........& this is along term plan to rubbish the Betterware name. Sadly I dont think that will ever happen whilst I'm on here.
Maybe...... you've worked for KLZ before because some of the stuff above you mention sounds a bit like them? The Seeker of Truth & Justice for all0 -
Hey John, thanks for replying as always.

With the stationary I was a bit confused on why I was being charged so I had asked betterware themselves. Basically we got the order forms , the brochures along with the plastic bags free. The Area manager at the time said that she has a friend that can provide some stickers for our brochures.
I didn't say I recruited them, I just recommended being a betterware agent to them. If they wanted to join then I would have passed the details to my area manager who would have passed it onto the person in charge of recruiting for that area.
Most deliveries by the person was always on the same day but different times. There were a few times when she had to change days of deliveries (i.e. illness etc)
If you really want to know about my true reason to being on here. I was looking to make a few online friends and I wanted to help people online with money problems.
I'm not friends with Luke in real life. I have many real life friends left hence the reason I joined here. I have talked to Luke through twitter but that was just to see if he had any online accounts.
I don't need to bash Betterware, why would I considering I worked there for about 14 years. Also If I was to do that wouldn't I lie and say that I had to send back the betterware item instead of the kleeneze item. I haven't worked for any other catalogue company. Maybe I'm just getting confused in my old age but the things I have posted is the things I remember from Betterware.
If anything I would love to do betterware again unforunately I don't think I would be able to do it since I don't walk much anymore. I still promote Betterware though to people like the postman, milkman etc.
Anyway I'm off to get some shopping so will see you soon John.0 -
Thanks for clarifying a few points, good luck with helping people & enjoy your shopping.
It doesn't hurt to contact Betterware again, if you have a circle of friends/neighbours etc you could sell to them??? Just remember if you sign up you earn a bit of cash & get 20% off anything you order.
If you tell the Area Manager this then they can sign you up as a fundraising/Friends & family agent.
There you go...........:money: money saving tip of the day :rotfl:The Seeker of Truth & Justice for all0 -
I must say Sandra50 reading this i find it amazing the lengths you have gone to if you dont have a vested interest somewhere.0

No problem John. Thanks for the message. I did enjoy my shopping, always a great time to go shopping.
I'll ask friends/family and see if anyone is interested in buying Betterware. I don't really want to join if none of them are interested in buying.
Thanks for the money saving tip. I owe you one nowmissterryshopper wrote: »I must say Sandra50 reading this i find it amazing the lengths you have gone to if you dont have a vested interest somewhere.
I'm not 100% sure what you mean by your post however I have gone lengths to prove that I'm not who I am.wongawonga wrote: »Hi Sandra 50. Thanks for your private message. I dont require your number .

I only provided the number so if you guys were interested in finding out that I'm me and not Luke. Yeah I won't sell anything on here. also I can't really advertise since I'm retired and not doing any work nowadays.
If people pm asking questions like "How to earn extra income?" I would probably reply like "I recommend Betterware as I have done it before" If that counts as advertising then I would stop.0 -
I see some of the Kleeneze reps are up to their old tricks again.
