Kleeneeze or Betterware?

FREEDOMS......interesting post......some stuff there pretty correct & some stuff not quite right
All agents are self employed therefore liable for all tax & national insurance. This also applies for the Area & Regional manager.
I have a contact who tells me they have about 500 Area Bods & about 90 Regional bods that cover Great Britain in general. The contact is a Regional Bod but doesnt earn anywhere near the amount you've stated, or what hes told me anyway
What you've written about KLZ does interest me & I too know of people that have been beaten up & threatened. Its happened in the past many many many times but not so sure nowadays
If you were operating out of Swindon then you may possibly know my contact as I know thats was an area under his control
There is an employed position which WW has stated in Betterware, which for what ever reason is not advertised on their main website but it is on the Job Centre. Again not high paid but a guaranteed income & full time
In my eyes Betterware is what people would call a lifestyle opportunity. Theres quite a few people earning some very decent money & the majority dont earn a great deal.
This FACT however is only limited to the person & the effort they actually want to put in. Most will only work as & when they want or need to. Some are more full time & will earn decent full time money & also they still do bonuses, incentives & holidays away.
It is a very simple business model to understand & rely on :money:
If you have any more stories good or bad pls come back soon

[FONT=Arial,Arial][FONT=Arial,Arial]After a prior year of significant decline in sales and profits, Kleeneze’s sales decline has reduced to 3.5% over the same period last year (2012 full year decline of 8.4%) and largely stabilised, whilst profit levels have been broadly maintained versus the same period of prior year. This follows a set of remedial actions:
- A change in management team at the turn of the year
- An associated reduction in overhead costs
- Increased coordination with Express Gifts, particularly around achieving greater synergies in buying and the sharing of overheads
- A redesigned proposition, including product range, product pricing, and catalogue design and structure
The revised proposition includes products and ranges at price points not previously offered by Kleeneze together with an increased level of promotional and pricing activity on core lines. The new propositions have been well received by distributors, and both average order frequency and average order value has risen. Although we have seen an improvement in many aspects of the business, distributor numbers have 6
continued to fall and this is an area of attention for the management team. Trading in the 8 weeks since the period end is 4.1% behind the prior year.
Although our efforts to return Kleeneze to growth after its many years of decline are yet to bear fruit, the business remains profitable and cash generative and is thus a contributing member of the Group. Despite the sales decline, the actions taken within the business should underpin the full year profit performance.

So at Kleeneze sales continue to decline, and its hard to get anyone to join, and distributors numbers are falling.0

Anyone else noticed the number of Kleeneezee Arear Managers setting themselves up as Ltd companies and advertising for distributors via UJM ?. It is only when you sign-up that the truth is revealed.
Some of these 'companies' pay less % to the distributors than Kleeneezee do, so pocket even more commission for themselves.Never Knowingly Understood.

But Kleeneze don't have Area Managers and if you join Kleeneze proper you cant be paid less then what you are entitled to as you are paid by the company directly at the appropriate rate.
So if you getting paid less your not a Kleeneze Distributor.
I have seen posts that Kleeneze Distributors do try and recruit on UJM which is in breach of the rules as its not a job.
I have found these guidelines Kleeneze issue for their distributors.

Kleeneze know fine well that their distributors are abusing the free to advertise on Universal Job Match so the statement on their website is just corporate BS. If Kleeneze were really that bothered about their reputation being sullied they'd end their contracts with the offending distributors. That's not going to happen though is it?0

Hey all. My name is Sandra. I used to do Betterware part time from 1976 to 1990. Unfortunately my memory isn't good as it used to be however I do remember a few things about it.
Betterware was about to go into its 50th year of business. I remember my team leader bringing everyone around to celebrate the occassion. It was great fun. I earnt about £5500-£6000 which at the time was very helpful. It helped with the mortgage and helped my son and daughter-in-law with a deposit on their house.
I haven't had anyone drop off a kleeneze or betterware catalogue in my area within the last 5 years. I have ordered a few things out of both companies' catalogues. Both companies have products that others need. One is expensive more than the other company and vice-versa. Regardless I think both companies do rely on the area and people in terms of getting customers. I think I was lucky with the number of orders I got in my area at the time.
Thanks for reading.

I haven't had anyone drop off a kleeneze or betterware catalogue in my area within the last 5 years.
Quick update:
Monday 27th January I have had a betterware and kleeneze catalogue come through my door for the first time. Just had a scroll through to compare prices and order a few things.
On Wednesday the books have been put out and collected in the day. kleeneze catalogue says 14-21 days for deliveries, however the person has put a note saying delivery will be on Monday 3rd February.
Just wondering any betterware posters can reply how long will delivery take for my order, as I did not receive any delivery note from the other agent and when I try calling the agent's number it keeps coming up with no answer.
When both deliveries come, I'll inform everyone my honest opinion about the two people.
Thanks

Hi Sandra
Thanks very much for the PM, not sure what that was about  we get quite a few people not quite telling the truth on here so I'll play along for the time being
Your answer to you question as above is...........
Your agent should deliver you another book with a sticker on giving you approx 24/48 hrs notice of their intention to deliver the goods back to you
I hope this helps/answers & its very good that you havent had a book from both companies for the last 5 years & yet you get both on the same day............. Just like London buses as they say :rotfl:
