Seriously if you do want to go skating... go before Dancing on Ice starts again in January. Rinks all over the UK get very busy then!I'd love to pass my next grade before then so I can use Patch ice sessions (for practicing more advanced figure skating stuff on not that I can do any of it!) as all the public sessions will get far to busy to practice things safely.
Taka it's not that you don't have a lot of clothes - you just have a capsule wardrobe. You're doing fantastically well, I hope you are proud of yourself :T:T:T:T
Hopefully this lot will last me until the January sales start. For the 1st time in years I fit into a normal sized person shop so it will actually be fun!
Bras... don't get me started! Anyone know where I can get budget (but pretty AND supportive!) bras in larger sizes? Brav!ss!mo is good but not really budget friendly...Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

hi hunMy friend swears by the Primark larger range and she's a FF. I only own 2 bras at the moment and they're both Bravissimo but I got them with birthday vouchers. Perhaps you could ask for vouchers for Xmas?

Yep anyone who has asked what I want for Xmas has already been told vouchers or a ice rink entry pass! :rotfl: Nice and simple for them to get so we both should be happy! :jMortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Not sure its the capsule I would have chosen though! :rotfl: Its functional but really boring! There doesn't seem to be much point spending £30 on a lovely cardy if a plain £8 one from Asda will do the job for the ~6/7 weeks it'll fit me for. Multiply that by the above wardrobe and it all adds up quickly having to replace most of it so frequently. At least I can now fit into sizes that charity shops stock so that should help too.

yes Taka, I am a bloke and I am answering your question about bras!
Let's say my OH has ample assetsand we usually buy her bras from Figleaves (lots of cashback, very frequent offers, and loads of promotional codes as well).. they have a lot of stock, very quick delivery, and returns are easy too...
Hope this helps!

This really is the least Mortgage related MFW diary! :rotfl: I am OPing... it is by standing order so all automated - £200/month!
I lost another 2lbs this week so I have now passed the halfway point on my weightloss journey. I've lost 5 stones 1.8lbs since the start of May! :j
I had an great day skating today.I normally skate at the learn to skate group lessons session but I'm almost at a level where I'll not be able to go to this anymore so I thought I'd try skating club as well today to see if it'll be a possible alternative. 3.5hrs on the ice in total! Apart from the 2x15 mins dance intervals I skated constantly (I don't know any dances yet so couldn't do them!
). I'm insanely hungry as a result. According to my Heart rate monitor I burned 2452 calories skating today!:eek::eek::eek: Is that even possible? :rotfl: I'm sooooo not going to be able to sit down without pain tomorrow!
I passed my grade 8 and 9 test too! :dance:Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Oh, and on continuing to OP your mortgage as well :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
