Bless. Glad you are free. Might be wise to regain some strength in it before skating again. You would kick yourself if you went out and tumbled on it again. You'll soon get back muscle mass and flexibility. If you are worried are there exercises from a physio that you could do?0

:rotfl:)
The returning to skating thing... I agree. If I fell now it'd be hell... It won't be fully healed bone strengthwise till around Xmas but the doc said it was up to me to decide when to return. As it stands I don't think I'd have enough movement and (muscle) strength to tie my skate laces tightly enough now so its going to have to wait till I get that anyway. :rotfl:
I think the next term of group classes starts mid november so it seems sensible to wait till around then (maybe the week before so I can take it easy and get back into it a wee bit before restarting the lessons?). Definitely another few weeks anyway.Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Mortgage update time...
As of yesterday (the day my mortgage payment and OP both hit my account) my mortgage stands at.... £41,072-24.
I just worked out I should be under £41k by the end of the year (after the next 2 months interest ands OPs are taken into account). I wish it was under £40k but I'd need to find another ~£910 and thats not really possible! That money needs to be saved in case we don't get funding for me to stay in my job after July. Grrrrrrrr! :rotfl:
I had a strange trip to the cinema on Monday. I accidentally stood on a womans foot while trying to squeeze past to get to my seat. I apologised and continued to try to move past her as the film was about to start. This [STRIKE]psycho[/STRIKE] woman actively and intentionally () stuck her other foot out to trip me up! Thankfully when I stumbled and started to fall, I pretty much stumbled on to my Mum so no injury. !!!!!! was that woman like? Apparently she and my Mum had had a disagreement in the 2 mins I was in the loo for so the *£$%!"£& woman took it out on me! Is it wrong that I hope her foot hurt like hell!I think with ~17 stone me in heels (standing on her foot with my heel) there was a good chance!
:rotfl:
I'm off skating tonight (presuming I get away from work in time!) for the 1st time since my fall. :j I flipping between really excited (and smiling like the cheshire cat) and being scared I'll hurt myself again. Please cross everything it goes ok everyone!
6 hours to go! :j :rotfl:

Taka whats this jewellery I'm hearing about? I love silver too
I'm hoping to have another go this weekend but who knows how it'll go - I certainly didn't have the necessary fine motor skills I need last weekend and it was kinda uncomfortable. Oh well...
