    It's sunny!

And i've heard a forecast that says that temperatures should be up by next weekend! Hooray!

    http://www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/8160098.York_teenager_talks_of_her_experience_of_ME/
is the link to the artical that DD1 did for the local paper - hope I'm allowed to post it here....

Had fruitless attempt to go to cinema last night - got there and it was full! Oh wekk maybe next week!

Much flying to be done - place is a pit....but hey I am feeling so much better for not being on the antibiotics! DS is in college today so I may get some peace!

CY....I was very moved to read your daughters article...still having a little sob for her, for you and for you all really. xx

I wanted to congratulate you all as a family for not being beaten by this terrible condition, M.E. devastates everyone on many different levels as you well know.

I truly hope that the many 'friends' that abandoned your beautiful daughter at her time of need, read that article and have the decency to think about how they didn't stick by her. I go on many forums re ME/CFS/Lyme and the lonliness is just as devastating as the condition, especially for those who are young...please give your daughter a huge well done from me and congratulate her for being brave enogh to speak about her experiences....I have huge respect for her for doing so.

Much love to you all. xxx

I have done some flying...I'll post it on another post.:D

Bathroom is now all ready for tomorrow. Livingroom has been retidied and front hall all done. Just need to do abit more in the kitchen.
Utility room is a bit of a state but as long as i can get in for the washing machine i'm not worried.:D

I've sorry i haven't kept up with the thread that much this week, hopefully i'll get better time at the weekend, big hugs all round.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Cyclingyorkie I will read your DD's piece when not so rushed and can do it the justice of giving my full attention.:o

Last night went OK; driving was not too scary, and we found pal's new place easily enough.:o

. But I'm exhausted today, and BD has been barking its flippin' head off for some reason.:(

Flying...well I had a slightly more energy day on tuesday so decided to move the dining room/and general clutter room around.

    Cue, some paperwork sorted,
    4 binbags filled,
    numerous cardboard boxes binned,
    old computer desk binned,
    floor swept,
    room jigged about a bit,
small table put in for helmets and bike gear,
small settee relocated to DD1's room,
and just general tidying and finding things.

    WM x2

    DW X2

cooker still not working....thought it might start magically......it hasn't so I've been using the remoska. I suppose its times like these that I am glad of all the gadgets.

It's an expensive month and I don't even know where to start re getting the cooker fixed....it'll no doubt be expensive but we're stuck at the whole kitchen was built around the cooker...arghhhh.

Also vehicles need MOT'ing, taxing, bills need to be paid...bugrit...need to have a sit down and work it out.

Also have the usual listasongasmyarm of things I must get done.

bungle... put it all in a binbag clean and dirty and give him it back. I did KH's washing but only because he was having the children while I was at college and he had no washer.

Tooch.. thanks.. I am lacking funds at the moment but will look when I am feeling less destitute!

  • Afternoon, all!

Had post-tutorial analysis in t'pub last night, crashed at just after midnight (I'm a lightweight - 2 units and I'm snoring). Then the wretched cat decided he wanted breakfast at 4am. He got a flea in his ear for his trouble, but not one crunchie. If he tries it again tomorrow, be prepared for reports of flying cats in Surrey.

Finally dozed off again at 8, to be woken at 9.40 by my driving instructor, as I had got the time of the lessons mixed up when he rescheduled.

Surprisingly, I was better at this lesson than last, but still generally useless - I'm still leaning into my corners and trying to change gear at the same speed as when you flick the clutch on a bike. Not that I could ride a bike these days - after my *big* accident, it took me seven years to be able to tie my shoelaces without falling over every time. And I am realising that the bit of nerve damage remaining is affecting my sensitivity. But I'm still medically fit to drive - I made sure of that first - so it's just a case of adaptation. As soon as I pass, I will probably get an automatic, but I want the full licence first.

Came back, decluttered my new surround system into the front room :D:D:D.

Shall have a cuppa, load the DW and WM and then push the vacuum cleaner around a bit, pop to shop to get something for tea (the fridge is practically empty) and then spend evening working on final assessment work again.

Oh, and possibly set up an internet shopping order for next week, CBA to do 'proper' shopping any more.

    See you all later!
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
