Pigpen, Have you looked at Wilkinson for canvas prints, they have some nice red ones, not sure if they are your type of thing.(tried to put a link but little red crosses)
    QUOTE]

Pigpen, We just bought a red canvas print; http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.207-6946.aspx just a thought.

Haven't done much flying today; dailies, one child's bedroom, as I have been busy with doctors appointment (coil fitting and referral to gynae for a resection of an old episiotomy scar ). Like I was busy enough, now there are HUGE head and heart issues that have been thrown up by the genetic testing. :(

Did do loads of flinging yesterday though and have more planned.

Cyclingyorkie, what a lovely girl, you must be so proud of her.

Hugs to everyone else that is in need; those doing battle with ex-es and job centre's and relieved by dissertation's being done, and having driving lessons and feeling poorly and looking after/worrying about poorly loved ones...

 Just burnt a pan and the veg in it - boiled dry, not like me....

Bought Gardeners' Worlds mag for £3.60 inside it is a small booklet for 2 for 1 entry to participating gardens, one of them is the Eden project, £16 each for entry there, so this year, one of my goals is to go and take OH with me, 2 for 1 deal is a good thing, plus if we can arrange for when a travelodge or similar one of its £19 rooms it must be a bargin, and the 2 for 1 card last till April 2011. So watch out if you have a garden listed near you, I might be round for cakes !!

What worked for us in Cornwall was staying in Mevagissey (Fountain Inn, real ale pub:beer:) and driving out to both Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan which can be a bit overlooked by comparison. I seem to remember the Fountain was a reasonable place to stay and right by the harbour; it's still listed in the Good Beer Guide and has decent reviews on Google. However, we have the advantage of being able to travel out of season; it was still warm enough in late September to be able to go in the sea:) Your mileage may vary!

    Mrs B you're a legend.
  • we've just had a HHC in the playhouse and I'm very impressed with DS and what is being given away (various places) - he'll have a lovely space to play in now. Apparently he and Daddy will be sprucing it up at the weekend (sweeping & mopping mostly).....hmm I wonder??

Right HHI next I think, have gone a bit mad on the washing front due to some great drying weather, so the bed is under a huge mountain. Ist of several HHI's tonight I think!

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Mrs B...

ooh, if you are in Coventry feel free to call in for a glass or two.....
I've missed you anyway, and I liked your storage box bargain - I just don't have a lot of time for posting (or cleaning) atm.

kazwookie - I got that too, but wasn't too impressed with the Midlands selection, I was hoping for Barnsdale and some Leicester stuff. I am hoping the boys are big enough to behave in gardens this year. Your tomatoes made me smile. I only grew 9 this year rather than have too many, only 5 got slugged the first weekend in the greenhouse .

Pooh - need to have a think and come back to you, you are right it is complicated.

I am hoping to have tomorrow off so I can catch up with the cleaning backlog. Boring but very, very necessary. So far tonight I have put uniforms in the WM and made a pasta bake for dinner. Must hoover, fill the DW and hoover. We are walking on a bed of dog hairs :o.

ETA Dusty - I have a 5% off petmeds code that just came through if you want it.

an ant farm and a wormery - brand new...just the thing for work. Just need some ants and worms now.

She has a steam generator iron so she let me use it to do all her ironing...inc my BIL's shirts which have a lot of fabric in;) Hoping now he will de-bug DS's laptop;) without being too grumpy;)

I have a night to myself and haven't got a clue what to do. Posted my dissertation earlier and dropped OH off in town for his PT's leaving do, had a quick drink to wish him well before I left. I might declutter a bath but I feel a bit lost now to be honest. I am going to have the rest of the week to myself and next week will start slowly by doing my dailies.

I've only really be aiming for level one first week but am really happy to get more then that done each day. You'll all be proud of me as when I had the hoover out earlier I decided that I may aswell give the hallway, bedroom, spare room and kitchen a quick going over (not the living room though as would have involved unplugging and carrying downstairs - I have an odd flat layout!)

My bake something new didn't turn out to plan when the new cheescake recipe I had in the fridge for about 24hrs still hadn't set though! Ooops!

Will sit and have a good read of whats been going on now I think

    xx
