Hi ladies,
I'm still in but on my own lists due to stupidly busy life this month...fun but no time to breathe!
Two quick requests for ideas/help 'cos I've been asked but can't answer but know some ladies who can! PM's are fine so as to not clog up the thread.
1. Wider shoes for small girls in a 6.5 to 7.5 - pretty t-bar types? Must be wider than an H, and Clarks/Startrite don't seem to have them this year...grrh...any sites/shops/makes to try. My girlfriend is so frustrated as nowhere seems to be able to help.
2. A slightly more serious note - being bitten at school (infant age), latest one on face. What should the school be doing, and what can the parent do? Very difficult situation all round I know, but any advice?
thanks
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -

bungle - what a flippin cheek! Agree with the others - stick his stuff in a bag, bung it with the amps, etc., and ask when he's clearing his stuff (should smell nicely by then).
aj - great news - well done you. I found my dissertation the other month and when I flicked through it, I couldn't believe that I had written it!

Hush puppies, ds2 is a J fitting and these are the only ones that fit usually. Try onine for clarks/startrite.. we've had them from shoesforchildren several times.

Moomin was bitten on the face her second day at nursery!! the mum was mortified!! The staff kept an extra close eye on the biter but at primary agethink the parents and school should be looking at reasons for the biting.. behavioural or emotional issues, communication issues etc..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

All was good, 10mins early, seen straight away, back in car at 9.59am! ie 1 min before I should have been seen in the first place, and having paid £16+ as well!!
Bought Gardeners' Worlds mag for £3.60 inside it is a small booklet for 2 for 1 entry to participating gardens, one of them is the Eden project, £16 each for entry there, so this year, one of my goals is to go and take OH with me, 2 for 1 deal is a good thing, plus if we can arrange for when a travelodge or similar one of its £19 rooms it must be a bargin, and the 2 for 1 card last till April 2011.
So watch out if you have a garden listed near you, I might be round for cakes !!Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

I hope you mean the house and garage WERE full.BungleGirl wrote: »You're right toots - I'm not doing it for him, but enjoy the fact that he noticed and might realise that the reason I never was very good at it before was because he never stopped bliddy going on about it. I swear I could clean the whole house but he would only ever notice the one thing that I didn't do! Honestly, the way that he went on about the state of the house you would expect it to look like something from How Clean is Your House! He could never accept my 'stuff' (paperwork mostly) even though the house and the garage are full of his 'stuff' (amps/guitars/motorbikes in bits/bikes in bits etc.).
I have enjoyed cleaning and just being pleased with what I have done and having noone to put me down all the time
Sorry - which bit of EX doesn't he get?BungleGirl wrote: »Oh! Forgot to mention that the sneaky so-and-so put a load of his washing at the bottom of the laundry basket last night when he was looking after DD (he had actually lifted stuff out and hid it underneath) presumably assuming that I would wash it - no chance! And the bits that were already washed are still sitting in the ironing basket - I've done mine and DD's but will not be touching his

HHC 2 (for today) - starting at 5... erm now!
Got distracted by OH coming in and ended up having a row about our soon-to-be house
Still I managed to:
shine the mirrors in the bathroom and hallway
hoover the bathroom and hallway
put dinner on
Part time GCer, NSDer, Comper and (Bad)Flylady
A big shot is just a little shot that kept shooting ...0
