I now nave a nearly bare back wall. oppppps:eek: I'll sand the rest in and put the finish on, i can't really touch the room until next week because i'm out of white paint but at least it will be ready.:D

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

hello ladies, hope you dont mind me joining, but i am a longtime fan of MSE and lately i have been trying a lot more to keep on top of my domestic duties! I am hoping that an organised list will help me not to miss anything out and hopefully enjoy it a lot more too. sometimes it can feel a bit like the Forth Bridge! I am going to do all the basics over the weekend and join with mondays list.... Nikki:p

Well I survived the Job Centre. I was doing very well and didn't blub at all and both the people that I had to see were really nice and didn't make me feel like a waste of space. I've got a list of things that I need to do to provide everything I need for my claims. Finish of the partnership tax return to Apr '10 and get DD's dad (not my DH) to write a letter confirming our unofficial agreement regarding maintenance. Then an old friend who works in the Job Centre came out and asked what I was doing there and I told her DH had left and burst into tears. Thankfully I had finished the interview so I was able to leave promptly and have a cigarette!

I got back from Slimming World earlier than I had thought last night (lost 2lb - woohoo!) and thanked DH for looking after DD for me and said that he could go now - ha! DD said that he had been asking her if I had been cleaning - so I guess what I did get done yesterday was noticed!

Supposed to be meeting a friend for coffee at 1pm but think that I will cancel as I would rather get the ironing done this afternoon so that I can have a long soak in the bath tonight.

Off to try and get a few bits on my list done but will be back to update later...
