Morning campers, a lovely early start for me today :) I actually feel semi human although the throat still feels like carpe, but I can cope with that I think :) Mustn't overdo it today though otherwise I will be flat on me back again..lol

Eeeps Graham Norton is playing Celine Dion singing some old Eurovision song, wouldn't be so bad but she's singing in blomming foreign..lol. Anyone would think it was Eurovision soon..:D

Well the birds are doing their usual breakfast diving.. Mrs Robin is without her hubby today, I think he might be on the nest or building it for her :D She is quite happy diving in and out the bird tray, and generally terrorising the sparrows!! Mr Blackbird is being a piggy, he is not letting anyone on the bird table as he wants the suet pellets all to himself. He won't be able to fly the amount he is putting away..lol The sparrows are en masse as per usual, and the starlings have already had their breakfast thank gods. They don't leave a lot for the rest of the birdies so I have to go out and top it all up. It's costing me an arm and a leg in bird food, but it's lovely to see :) Mr and Mrs Mice are happy little mice and are running back and forth to the bird feeder and grabbing little bits of seeds. It won't be long before the baby mice will with the proud mum and dad :) Better not touch the old compost heap as I will end up terrifying the mice family..lol.

    Ok enough waffle!!

Loads of huggles and snuggles to LL, Toots and Diva xx
lav1979 hope you and bump are feeling better now. Welcome back honey :)
Pipersky did you make any yoghurt/marmalade in the end? Mmm that cake looks gorgeous, might have to make that for DH :) Sorry about the blueberry jam - a good tip for a burnt pan I found is to cover the burnt stuff with white vinegar and then boil the pan for a wee while. It comes off like magic this way :D
    Mumto5, hugs honey :D
Piggers - six weeks  that's not long!! Are you going to rest, in your lovely decorated bedroom, for June/July. You can fling mules at us if you want..:rotfl:I love the wallpaper in your room it just sets it off nicely. :D
Kaz you certainly have DS well trained, bless him :)
Cyclingyorkie, eeps at all the side effects to your AB's. Hope they don't last too long. *Hugs*
    WB
Diva, I missed you sweetie - hugs!!
    Vanilla love your siggy :D
Cally_c glad DD is home, is she okay now? That must have been so frightening for you and DH, hugs. OOOOH Yankee bits, where? Show me? :rotfl: *wanders off wondering if she can justify any more yankee
    candles*

Tired - I would so love chickens/cockerals but I think the neighbours would complain, or the dogs might think they are dinner :(
MrsChaos - it certainly sounds busy in your garden. How did the shed fitting go on Tuesday, hopefully okay :)
Greenbee I can't believe you made that many cupcakes - I'm lucky if I make one a month :rotfl: DH would marry you in a heartbeat if I told him about your cake making skills.. :D
Juliejim *hugs* honey, get better soon.
Crafty did I see you had posted HAIL at the beginning of the week? Yikes!!
Jinky huge huggle hugs honey. How's your gran doing now?
LameWolf hugs honey. Hope you are feeling better.
Ishtar, that's fantastic news about your mum. I bet you are all pleased.
JoJo how did the theory test go?
PenPen I have been glued to Sky News since Tuesday. I agree politics is interesting, well this lot are..lol I even made DH watch it when he got home, he wasn't impressed as he has it on all day at the bank and he thought he could get away from it at home..lol. I never knew I could get so hooked, and this is from someone who absolutely hated politics once..:rotfl:

cycling... I think it would be more like nose up rectum rather than hand in hand.. filthy slimey turn-coat scumbag Smeg... £6 MILLION funding cuts in public services.. have they any idea what this will do to health and education???? it does also mean the cuts to the police will be added to council tax bills so those will increase hugely... the 'surplus' staff will be made redundant/contracts not extended so the unemployment will skyrocket.. AND.. to make it worse.. as a coalition they don't have to have another general election until the full 4-5 year term is up.. what a hideous thought...

How anyone in their right mind could have voted for the 'C's' (and that doesn't represent Conservative!!!) is beyond me... the first thing they do every time is hit the most vulnerable in society.. the young and the sick.. they'll start a compulsory euthanasia programme next for 'getting rid' of everyone over the age of retirement so they are not taking money from the country when they are non-productive... it'll be like Logans Run!!

I can see why we made you PM ;)

I found a jam reciepe and cant make sense of it can anyone help??????????
    Black Currant and Rhubarb Jam
    Ingredients:
    1.00 L rhubarb (about 700 g)
    1.00 L black currants (about 800 g)
    650.00 mL water
    1625.00 mL sugar
How do you get 1652 ml of sugar? Do you measure it in a jug? I'm used to doing things in grams. My blackcurrants aren't ready yet but judging by the bushes there will be loads.:T:T

I love blackcurrants - can I have some of yours, please :D
*stamps foot* I'm not even in the cabinet. Can pen pen and me be Science Ministers??

You only have to ask to be in the cabinet :p I'd be delighted to share Science with you :A
