pigpen gosh that has taken a while to get sorted - and you really didnt need it hanging over you - and you will have to learn to say 'NO' now and then - you cant shoulder the responsibility for everything IMHO (you can tell me to butt out!) could you be needing to rest in bed that day - maybe squeak will be extra uncomfortable and your legs will have swollen or something! ooooh ooooh you said you were hormonal - get more hormonal and be really [STRIKE]upset[/STRIKE] hysterical that you cant go as it would be tooo much for you:(

And my mother would never forgive me.. If I can go shopping, fit carpet and get children to various appointments I can manage half an hour at a funeral, so unless I am actually in hospital, I have no choice. I have to admit though taking OH with me 'for support' when KH is going to be there does sound thrilling.. we are currently hoping the coroner doesn't want another postmortem TBH, if he does that will be adding another week to the wait.. and we are already looking at the back end of next week... the longer this goes on the more it is taking from my mother.. she is going to fall to pieces after this is sorted.. she has already had a couple of heart attacks and has angina.. she hasn't got back to being 'normal' since her mother died 5.5 years ago. At least the things she wants me to do I can do sitting down or slobbed in bed I don't need to be dashing about... so it isn't too difficult.. it is only putting together a slideshow of photos with music and when and where.

how do you say no when you have your mother extremely upset asking you for help? I am very good at saying no to everyone.. except family.. I just can't do it.

piggers awhhhhhhhhhhhhh you said you wouldnt put carp back in your room - I hope you get it dealt with asap - you need to rest and regain your strength and energy - no wonder you are tired with what you have achieved and squeak keeping you awake - take some time out!!!!!

DD2 needed her room back.. she has been sleeping on the sofabed in the middle room since she got back form her trip on Friday.. I just have 3 binbags and 7 boxes on the floor to sort through and home.
Evening! Just skimmed through the thread - I'm guessing pigpen didn't vote Tory :p :rotfl:

our tory candidate is an absolute fruitloop.. he has his brother escort him because he is such a twerp.. he once said to KH 'I wish I had a skill'.. says it all really!! If he wasn't so inbred he would have been certified a very long time ago and locked up for his own protection.. as it is he has his brother for protection... and he needs it!

libdem bloke.. 'slugpig'... (more chins than the chinese telephone directory and eyes like a shifty little gingerbread man!)

I need to buy a tool box.. I have a stack of chisels and screwdrivers and all sorts just thrown in a box with other stuff.. must sort it!

Piggers - I've just emptied my old fishing tackle box because I've got a new bag....if I give it a good wash it'll stop smelling of fish and you could have it for a tool box. It's one of those lever arch type plastic boxes with an internal lift out shelf and it's 19x10x10''.

Give me a shout if you want it :)
