    Morning all

have had to have a strip wash at the sink because the ceramic cartridge thingy in my hot tap (in the bathroom I am waiting to have replaced*rolleyes*) has broken AGAIN - but at least this time it went when the tap was closed....

so that's the bank account cleared of £30.00 *coff*

(And of course I couldn't remember the website I order the spares from*sigh* - got there in the end though)

Washing on line - just going to wash up and clean teeth and then see how long I have before my mum comes. probably not long TBH

Bless her Cycling... one of DS's friends has had it since primary school. The impact on his life has, AFAIK, been devastating.

Pen Pen I think it's fantastic that DD wants to volunteer at CAB over the summer - I hope she does well today.

OH has just told me that radio 5live interviewed Giles Brandreth late last night about Clegg/Cameron and he described the press conference as being 'like many of the gay weddings I've been to!'

comment from DD1 - apparently somewhere on FB (I'm not allowed to do FB) there is a group called 'the last person to enter parliament with sincere intentions was Guy Fawkes!'

Well it made me laugh - off to do the washing up!

Thanks honey I got up straight away and took them.(I had forgot! and scared you come round and tell me off :rotfl:) x

I love blackcurrants - can I have some of yours, please :D

Certainly, nip round when they are ready :D. I'm quite pleased this will be the first decent crop since they were planted and they only cost £1 for the 2 bushes out of a wee shop that was shutting down. I did get 2 raspberries as well but they never came to anything. DS1 and I are getting the rhubarb out later to make jam, we have run out of damson jam and it will make a wee change.

    onestep your garden looks lovely.
