Domino's Chasing for money

I was asking if it was right for them to find addresses out etc and call a number to ask for money. The number could have been a communal number etc.
As for stealing...I dont think so. You know you are so quick to judge from a forum post. It was never stealing. You dont really know anything about my life at all so please to feel free to comment on things other than what I have asked.
If it was a communal number your husband would have been in the wrong to give it out then wouldn't he.
And not paying when you should have is stealing. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

as said before they take your number when you place the order and presumably they didnt make up a delivery adddress so whats the problem ? they used the information supplied at point of order to recover a debt .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. The OP did say they collected the pizzas so all this talk about a delivery address being given is invalid. However OP seems to have edited this out of her first post today. My conclusion is OP is a timewasting troll.0

But the OP also said they have only contacted them by phone, so I imagine thats all they have done but the OP is assuming they have all their other details.

The OP seems to have edited their post quite a bit. Maybe they didn't realise it tells everyone when a post has been edited. Silly person0 -
I am more concerned about them getting our address as I didnt know they were able to get information like that.
So it has cost you £115 to find out that NEXT time you steal something/leave a restaurant without paying or whatever - maybe you'll use a PAYG mobile instead of your landline.
You're a craap criminal OP! You really are! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Im just wondering though if Dominoes have done right in what they have done by tracking down someones number address etc. Im sure other companies would just see it as a learning curve to ask for cash!
Whats everyone think?
To answer your question directly, yes Dominoes are quite entitled to do whatever they like to get your address to make an effort to recover money owed. There's 192.com, or just a general google search, or facebook etc... They wouldn't be allowed to just break into your house and take the money, but they're are 100% entitled to use their initiative to look up your address.
There could be some poor employee whose wages will be £115 down unless he gets the money back.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

Now I'm really confused. Are you saying that working in a pizza shop means you're not allowed to use the internet any more? That seems like a dreadful invasion of privacy to me.If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0
