Domino's Chasing for money

It is our house phone they have rang. My husband now has to gather all the money off his mates to pay. (Which is obviously what they should do). Im just wondering though if Dominoes have done right in what they have done by tracking down someones number address etc. Im sure other companies would just see it as a learning curve to ask for cash!

Whats everyone think?

Domino's you have a customer record with phone number, last address used, last name used and previous orders (although previous orders only go back a couple of months).

All they needed to do was to look at the £115 order and it would give the phone number and address used.

I know it is the decent thing. I know that. I said that in the paragraph above. I was just wondering if they were in their rights to chase numbers/addresses.

So let me get this right

your OH and mates ordered and for one reason or another had £115 worth of pizzas, leaving without paying - ok we'll accept it was an oversight on both parties' part.

During the night they realised they hadn't paid and decided not to admit to it.

So after a fortnight you come back from your honeymoon to phone calls from Dominos who have now realised their error and wondering if you do have to pay??????

And people wonder why the country can be considered to be morally bankrupt?

And for what its worth when you order a Dominos you have to provide a telephone number so it wouldn't have taken a genius to find a number to contact you OH on.

Of course it is. You owe money. You gave them contact details.

How come this forum is full of people like yourselves?

My point was never what is morally right.

And what has the state of the country to do with this? Get off the high horse your on and take the post for what it is. Not asking for advice on what we should do. We know what we should do.
