your OH and mates ordered and for one reason or another had £115 worth of pizzas, leaving without paying - ok we'll accept it was an oversight on both parties' part.
During the night they realised they hadn't paid and decided not to admit to it.
So after a fortnight you come back from your honeymoon to phone calls from Dominos who have now realised their error and wondering if you do have to pay??????
And people wonder why the country can be considered to be morally bankrupt?
And for what its worth when you order a Dominos you have to provide a telephone number so it wouldn't have taken a genius to find a number to contact you OH on.
NO! The question was NEVER should we pay.0 -
How come this forum is full of people like yourselves?
My point was never what is morally right.
And what has the state of the country to do with this? Get off the high horse your on and take the post for what it is. Not asking for advice on what we should do. We know what we should do.
Then why are you asking for opinions?
They ordered the food. They ate the food. They stole the food. They need to pay for the food. Simples.
I think it's a wind up because I can't believe anyone would be thinking that Domino's is in the wrong :cool:0 -

I was asking if it was right for them to find addresses out etc and call a number to ask for money. The number could have been a communal number etc.
As for stealing...I dont think so. You know you are so quick to judge from a forum post. It was never stealing. You dont really know anything about my life at all so please to feel free to comment on things other than what I have asked.0 -

Well theres nothing in the law to say you can't phone someone up and ask for money they owe.0 -

Of course it is don't be so stupid. They are owed money they phone the number they find and ask for the money back. I can't believe your debating this.0 -

I still think it's a wind up.
If anyone takes an item from a shop without paying, it's stealing. You wouldn't take a frozen pizza from Tesco and think you were entitled to refuse to pay for it!
And how on earth did they manage to leave the premises without paying?
Nope - doesn't ring true to me. And thank you, I will feel free to comment on anything that's posted on an open forum.0 -
could have been worse, they could have passed on your details to the Police and you would have had a visit rather than a phone call.0

It's good to mark the start of the weekend with a game of spot the troll
