The one with the postage close to the actual cost of what the item determines. So could be either A or C for me?0
-
I would go for C.0

I'm afraid I don't think its that simple. A lot of it depends on the item and the listing. On cheaper items I normally prefer the postage separately. If its an expensive item i'm more likely to go with the free (inclusive) postage option
Then there is also the question of if I think the postage is a fair price (considering postage and packing) Sometimes I may not know this until the item arrives.
Going by what you have listed I would more likely go for C, but it would not stop me buying A but I would then slam the P&P DSR if I did0 -

thats the mentality i don't understand why buy and then "slam the p&p DSR" when you have the option to buy from other sellers who's p&p does not offend you?
Just sounds malicious and a tad bit spiteful to me. not to mention petty......."A wise man once told me don't argue with fools because people from a distance can't tell who is who"........0 -
would not go for situation A, as the total is 99p more expensive than the other two options to start with
tbh, you can only give those situations if it was BIN. whether postage would be a factor to me, would be made once the price has started to increase
so 99p start, with 2.99p&p if it stayed at that price, i woudnt bid, as to me thats blatant fee avoidance, and id prob want to avoid sellers like that

No its fee avoidance I have to adhere to it so do other sellers. Sellers who overcharge for postage give the rest of us a bad name. I wouldn't buy from high postage sellers out of choice but if I think the item is better or the sellers FB reads better I will. So i'm not on a crusade but if I buy from sellers with high P&P my DSR scores will reflect this, because that is what they are for to reflect my experience of the transaction
And before you say whats it got to do with me or somesuch. Sellers charging ridiculous postage to avoid fees are the reason the P&P price caps were brought in (and the famous free P&P) so these sellers have affected other sellers being able to charge actaul postage costs in some categories. So sellers overcharging postage effect everyone in the long term and the way we can all structure our listings and your burying your head in the sand if you don't think it effects you as a seller.0 -

because its fee avoidance. if you want £2.99 for an item, to be able to cover the cost of the item, plus your time, shoe leather, petrol, jiffy bag, PP & ebay fees, and stamps, then why not just start at £2.99 with free postage
i too would drop ratings on anyone whos postage isnt realistic to the costs involved

START PRICE 99P POSTAGE £2.00 ???
no - I didn`t actually -t was meant to show a seller who was obviously over charging compared to his competitors
but I could have included £2 as OPTION D
SELLER D :A
START PRICE 99P POSTAGE £2.00As Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !

Honestly doesn't matter a single bit to me at all, in any way.
If there were three listings, identical feedback, identical pictures, identical detail in the posts etc...the way the price is broken down is the only difference, I'd probably pick whichever one was first/ending soonest.0
