  • I believe votes should be mandatory. With an option at the polling station of I couldnt care less. At least then you would have to make an effort to protest and we would have true figures about who simply doesnt give a damn

Munchki - remind me what the sewing machine is again. I'll put another request onto Freecycle and I can bring it down with me if I get one. I might put a request on for a whole sewing machine actually - what sort do you need, does it have to do fancy stitches or will a straight up and down do (can you tell I know nothing about sewing machines??? :))

Looking forward to seeing you Joey, I've got some bits for the kitties x
Babymoo - I would be inclined to say tough luck, polling stations opened at 7am, they have had all day to get down there, but you know how the british like to make a big deal out of things, so don't think we have heard the end of it.

To be fair, I didn't get to the polling station till 9.45pm myself.....

Wish I could suggest something babymoo! It's frustrating isn't it! You need to find yourself a nice relaxing hobby!

Right goodnight everyone, I can feel my poor eyes getting very heavy! I will look back to see who asked about my machine as I have already forgotten **sorry!!!** think I am just really tired. My brain never shuts down so sleep does not come easy at all. I will look up the machine tomorrow if someone will please remind me as it is currently buried behind boxes that I need to sort this weekend as well!

Good night and sweet dreams everyone. Love and Hugs xx

edit: glad the flat is now being painted as I am having my first house guests at the end of the month.....woohoo can hardly wait now!!

Toots. in case don't speak to you before - I hope the ultrasound goes ok. if he feels embarrassed they really do do it day in day out and don't think twice about it. he sounds very mature but even so I am sure it is a big thing for both of you.
really big hugs and you will be on my mind. I am joining you in trusting that all will be well.

  • Thank you so much Jo, your kind works mean a lot to me.

I should have headed for bed before now, up really early and a long day ahead, so I'm off for now.

Hugs to all you lovely dribblers - I'll catch up with you all tomorrow as I'm not out as I usually am on a Friday. Night night sleep tight x
