don't apologise. I am frightened by what the tories will do, but never apologise for your views or how you feel.

OMG - I really hope exit poll is wrong. A hung parliament is not a bad thing, but can you see the little boys sitting nicely in class and be kind to each other??
Ooh the markets are opening at 1am.... it will be interesting to see what happens there.
I am ready for bed but kettle is on....
Its really good to have you lot around for a chat tonight as OH has gone to bed and the rats really aren't up to politics much.
Interested in the market too. What with all the problems in Greece atm, I think a hung parliament could be a very bad thing, but we will see.EMminently wrote: »Baby moo - In an ideal world, i favour the green party. In this world, it's labour for me but i voted lib dem as a tactical vote to stop the tories getting in locally and green/labour would've been a wasted vote. All i put on facebook was 'green party' and i lost 4 'friends'.
If they can toss away a friendship that easily to begin with, then they weren't real friends, I would tend to agree, with the exception of the wind farm thing. (Long story)I kind of live by the motto

I have not been through half of what you have hhh, but I have not had an easy ride either. It's how you look at life that dictates if you survive or not.
Completely agree. Sorry you have had such a hard time. Life is not about what has happened, but more about what you do next. You have managed to create your own family, business and life, despite everything, you should be proud of yourself.
Oooooo, 1 to labour, I am soooo not going to make it til the end, specially with DD being up before 6.30, did a late one last night, so really feeling it now. Evening everyone *hugs*
Once again I'm not organised enough to reply to everyone, so please don't feel left out if you don't get a mention!!
HHH just wanted to say, given what you've been through, your attitude is incredible and I have to agree with Mambury's saying of what doesn't kill you..... I believe that we are only given what we have the strength to handle.....
You'll all be very pleased to know that I shrugged off my usual habits and actually stopped off to vote tonight. I honestly don't think it will make much difference in the grand scheme of things, although probably will locally, which is what led my decision.
It's been a long day and I have an early start in the morning, so might stick around for just a wee while yet. Popped in for a quick visit with my parents earlier as they go on a mini-break on Saturday, and left 3 hours later!!! Quick rush to vote, then home, realised I hadn't eaten and it was nigh on 10pm!! Oh, just to catch up, I didn't lose any weight the week before last, but I did lose another pound last week. Not sure what the scales will think this weekend, but hey ho!
