Go to Start and Control Panel
Click on Administrative Tools and Services
In the Services box scroll down the list of Services (Local) until you find the one labelled Wireless Zero Configuration and double click it.
In the Wireless Zero Configuration Properties (Local Computer) box change the Startup type to Automatic
Click on Start and once the service has started click on OK
Now find the service labelled WLAN AutoConfig and double click on it
In the WLAN AutoConfig Properties (Local Computer) box change the Startup type to Automatic
Click on Start and once the service has started click on OK
Go to File and Exit to close the Services window0 -
How is Malwarebytes and WZC coming along?0
-
Haven't malwarebytes done yet.
Got the Wireless Zero Configuration sorted but don't see WLAN AutoConfig in Services? There's one that says Wired AutoConfig?0 -
So how about getting Malwarebytes sorted...it only takes a few seconds.
Which router are you using?0 -
Why do I need to Register at Malwarebytes with the product key etc? It has worked ok before so just wondering what's the difference when I Register?0
-
I will do it tomorrow, or even later on today lol am shattered, thanks Donnie for your help :-)0

OP currently has 200 meg free, and has already noted a speed improvement, more memory isn't necessary.
Youve done the OP proud closed. And yes, its clearly running far better now than before the OP posted.
But if the OP visited certain webpages (Just as a small example), that memory would be wiped out in seconds
Id buy more memory just so that I could do more with the computer.
That said, if the OPs happy to just use it for the odd bit of browsing it should be fine:idea:0
