    I have just phoned my local council and i am on the backup list, not quite sure how much they are paying (i believe it is by the hour). But they have people dropping out all the time.
    She also asked if it was for Thursday or Friday so i said both!

    No vacancies for Thursday night count in my town - majority of posts filled by council staff...and our council don't pay that much.

    Not quite sure why a CRB is needed, it only involves the ability to read & count to 20.....no unauthorised people, children or vulnerable adults allowed in the area and there is a police presence.
