Don't count on getting a text m8... They'll probably just introduce the charge without telling any one... Just cancel your DD now and fight it out with them!
Also, I suggest everyone install call recording software on their phone in case they get a call from Vodafone... Just remember to tell them you're recording!0 -
had an email a couple of days as for some reason, I'm registered as being interested in the Desire. The deals on there are still being marketed as Unlimited data:

Never cancel the DD, failing to pay without lodging an official dispute means you are at fault for defaulting a contract, and it will screw your credit file for 6 years if you get a default!Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
Was in a Vodafone shop yesterday, in their latest deals leaflet there is no mention of unlimited, everything is marked as having 500Mb or 1GB (nexus/iphone).0

Which makes you wonder why they removing the usage of the word unlimited in relation to the internet yet still using it with text messages if "nothing has changed".TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -

Well I sent them a letter stating I was unwilling to accept their new T&Cs and prices... Wouldn't that count as a dispute?0 -
So what should we do now guys? Ive emailed vodafone but they keep telling me I have a minimum contract commmitment period and that if i leave I have to pay the line rental owed for the rest of my contract.
But they have broke the contract have they not?0 -
That's what I think mate... Slime bags...0
