You'd be surprised how easy things can be arranged once the ball gets moving
I am just so angry how quickly Vodafone are flip-flopping, they could end all this now but they are intent to cause misery and anguish amongst its customers.0 -

The latest is anyone who signed up after November 2009 cannot cancel according to that link!
It seems that there now saying anyone who signed after July 2009 cant cancel.0 -
Well, I received the notification text that they were going to start charging me this morning. So, when I get home tonight I'll fire off a letter by registered post stating that I wish to cancel. Can't do any harm! i'll also email them a copy and see what response I get.
I suspect this could well drag on for quite some time. I can't see Vodafone allowing thousands of people to cancel their contracts for free without a fight. If nothing else, I'll have proof that I tried to cancel within the 14 day period.0 -

Try emailing Vodafone Directors Office - VodafoneDirectorsOffice@gb.vodafone.co.uk
This is where the focus of my complaint is at the moment, and although they are still saying 'no' it may be handy we start using this as a central 'hub' to send complaints into on this matter.0 -

Yep, I'll probably send my email there. Have already been in contact with them over the fact I was miss-sold 'unlimited internet usage' in the first place. At least they appear to actually read emails there, rather than just send out generic replies.0 -
Has anyone got a template that i can post/email?0

Hi everyone,
In order to provide clarify here please see our updated statement here http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/forum-53/announcement-137-updated-23082010-mobile-internet-charging/which covers the vast majority of queries I've seen in this thread over the last week or so.
We have completely changed the statement from what was previously there as some of the content was confusing.
I note that some may opt to email our Director's Office; however, I would stress that there is little point in this as you'll a reply advising you to write to us as per the statement on our eForum.
Kind regards,
Lee

Just got a reply from Sarah Green at the directors office saying that if I got one of the text telling me I will be charged to write in and they will:
"we'll assess your request and let you know if it's possible to cancel or not"
Also wanting proof as to why I feel my bill will be increased by 10%Wins:

Dec - Klean Kanteen water bottle
Nov - TWS1 Edifier headphones0 -

Same here. Have a look at this:

Hopefully we will get some idea what counts as proof besides what Tom would 'expect'.
As my original posted letter has not gone on their files yet, I have since sent my recorded delivery letter this afternoon asking for the termination notice to be considered as of last Monday, the date I originally sent the letter to them, having also sent it electronically and they have acknowledged the electronic copy.0
