Oh my goodness...what a super-dooperproductive-day you've had. I thought I'd done okay until I'd read your whirlwind accomplishments!!
Since coming in from work I have sat on my !!! catching up with the posts whilst munching on a bag of cheesy wotsits:o (nomnomnom at the time but now feel slightly sick as I've purdy much eaten junk all day...bleurrghh)
So, to redeem myself must get creative in the kitchen and whip up a nutrious tea from fridge/cupboard contents.
Sounds like you've had a good day MG and the positive vibes are back baby!!!

The floors are mopped, the carpets hoovered, my sink is shiny, my bathroom gleaming, my washing basket empty and i've started the ironing - and in the oven is a shepherds pie and a loaf of raisin bread!!!!!!!!!!!
For the next five minutes (until the mess fairies start getting it messy again) i am an official domestic goddess. I have peaked girlies, this is it!!!!!!!! its all downhill to a slovenly Chrimbo from here on in (Just kidding).
Usually she arrives and the house is, well, a "work in progress" LOL

They never arrive when you want them to. Usually turn up in the middle of a load of mess and a row (which they can hear from halfway up the street)
Still you have got everything done and it's a lovely feeling. have a rest tonightIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

Douglas Adams is cool - a source of loads of wisdom, I find. And you might find this surprising but the answer is really 42!
I did not have writer's block today, I had a mega, gigantic boulder. My alibi is that the temperatures here are such that even managing to write my name is an intellectual Golgotha. Spend the day reading and working on the 10 steps separating isead and their realisation - have got to step three.
Little Boy is back - great! Someone good to argue with at last.

Mmmm Douglas Adams, new one on me. Off to research. Oooo I love this thread it is stretching my mind, body and soul more than they have been for so long.
Back soon armed with some good quotes hopefully. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

Hi all,
today I went to a book shop and saw a book called 'The Mega Secret' by Mel Gill. Having done some research on the web I can find a videa but not a book - Amazon has a message that the book will be out in November 2010. Has anuone on here heard about this one and is it worth bothering with (the jacket claims that it goes beyond the law of attraction and sets out six more).

Peter Andre was on tv book club talking about the secret, he started using it because it was working for his brother. I wonder if he used it befor he met Katie Price  , as the saying goes 'be carefull what you wish for':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
MG, well done for the way you handled the idiot at the school. You showed maturity and compassion that he could learn at lot from. Don't be a hero though, he must have shaken you up, make sure you get some hugs from your mates. I prescibe a girls night in with wine and choc'sSew it, knit it, glue it, reuse it , don't buy it0 -
