Always wanted to read that. Moves up my list of Must buySome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Firewalker wrote: »Hi all,
today I went to a book shop and saw a book called 'The Mega Secret' by Mel Gill. Having done some research on the web I can find a videa but not a book - Amazon has a message that the book will be out in November 2010. Has anuone on here heard about this one and is it worth bothering with (the jacket claims that it goes beyond the law of attraction and sets out six more).

Hi Firewalker, I found this;

Morning peeps - was mopping the hallway this morning and wondering.
i wonder how much of this house i ACTUALLY own??
So by pacing it out i think that the house is 11 metres by 10metres x 2floors plus about half the floor area for the loft. I make that roughly 275 sqm.
£126000 / 275 = £458. So every square metre of my house costs me £458. So at the moment I own three square metres of my home. Thats about the area of one of the kids beds -right??
Thats the happy thought, because some of these squares are really worth their money. The one around the hob which feeds us three times a day.The one with the freezer and the breadmaker. The one with the loo obviously:rotfl:, the shower, my desk where i write.
But some squares are less worthy. The cupboard in the hallway -a clutter magnet that I avoid going into, the space under the stairs, the unrenovated rooms that i can avoid going into for weeks. The piles of clutter taking up floorspace. All that stuff that is occupying valuable and expensive space in my home. Surely if its not worth £458 it would be better to let it go.
Time this evening to start clearing some squares and reclaiming this expensive spacefor me and the family to enjoy.
Off to screw together 12 wooden shelving units at the school. Back later.

I just love the way you turn everything on it's head and start thinking in a completely original way. I have never thought about how much of my house I actually OWN - probably roughly the same amount as you.
Happy shelvingIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Yeah -housework is dangerous stuff, it gives you all this time to think:D
Made up half of the shelves-and i've thrown the others in the boot ofthe car so that I can feed the kids and then screw the rest of them together when ds2 has his nap.
The school bus will collect them and the tables we've sourced tonight at about 5pm.
So with a bit of luck i can fit some proper work in around everything else.
First job will be to create a menu plan for DS1 packed lunch to make sure i am organised to do it as cheaply as possible.
Flapjacks ahoy - lol
